[03] Light Noodles - TouchDesigner Tutorial

In this tutorial, we are going to create figures that look like glowing noodles and we will do it by instancing, in which we will create the position, scale and color, plus a bit of post.

A really good tutorial but I have one problem: When connecting the circle right a the begining with a geometry, the geometry will always have a donut in it. Even going in and deleting the donut, doesn't help for the circle to be shown. I can't seem to find a solution.

It comes by default in TouchDesigner, press the C key.

Good question and the answer can be simple or complex depending on your knowledge. But it is all based on trigonometry and where a point is located in space. A good video to understand it is what Daniel Shiffman explains in his channel The Coding Train, but amplify it to 3 coordinates since in this tutorial we are using (x, y, z). But if you need to visualize what we are drawing, at minute 2:00 it is explained that you can connect an SOP that converts numbers into a line, something visual that allows us to understand what is happening.

@@pao_olea Haha thank you! But i meant organizing like at 0:10 where you have three rectangles green, turquoise and violet, and nodes inside them)
