That damn power steering pump on the 5.3 Motor is so difficult to remove and install. There's not much room to work with at all. I don't know why they all supply the white oring because I don't even know where it goes, lol. Great video and helped me out a lot though. Job well done on this video.

Did you install a power steering pump filter ? If yes, where did you install it ? Also, what brand of pump did you use ? Sorry for all the questions but I'm getting ready to do my 07 GXP.

Hey man, when you replaced your power steering pump on your Grand Prix, do you recall a plug mounted to the side of the pump. When I pulled my power steering pump off it unplugged from god knows what and I’m having trouble finding what that jumper went to. Thanks in advance.

Try the crank sensor that sits on the side of the motor on the water manifold
