Thanks for the awesome comment, and I'm glad you're enjoying the reports! I've actually been on holiday for a week hence the delay. I'll be back next week but I don't have any reports 'ready to go' as of yet so I'll have to see when I can get another game in. I play quite a few other tabletop games and have other time-consuming hobbies too so I'm not always able to play as much as I'd like. I was hoping to get a couple of reports up per month on average - certainly at least one - but to be honest this channel has received a much more positive reaction and faster subscriber growth than I anticipated, and that certainly does fuel my interest in playing more ToW, and trying new armies and list archetypes etc. I just don't know how frequently I'll be uploading reports right now; it's not uncommon for my only free days to be eaten up by other commitments. It may be a bit slow going for the next few weeks while I try and sort out more games and paint up enough models to play a variety of lists (I also have my own Chaos Dwarfs in the works) but I tentatively hope to build up some steam over the summer so please do bear with me!

There are a few little things that I think should be tweaked with CD to make them 'just right' imo: Fireborn 5+ armour, or slight pts increase and 5++ or 3rd wound Bull Centaurs heavy armour and Furious Charge LET A CASTELLAN RIDE A FRICKIN TAURUS OR LAMMASU!

I believe they were from a range called Russian Alternative that don't exist in themselves any more but there may be STL files of them

TK priests can summon ambushing units 'from beneath the sands' if they pass a Ld test. The units arrive within 12" of the priest but not within 6" of the enemy, and can't charge afterwards. It's a really good ability and this battle was the first time I've properly made use of it, I'll definitely think about it more in future too

You're right about the sphynx - I was just out of range to heal it, and I don't think I could avoid another volley from the tank, so I wanted to make sure it didn't die without doing anything. RE skeleton archers, I agree - I just don't have any models as of yet. I have some on order but it will likely be quite a while before they're painted up. I hope to try out an Ushabti-heavy list and a monster-heavy list before then. Good point about the list terminology- I'll bear that in mind! Ao is just 'Armour of' (I think I used to write Ro and MRo for Rune of / Master Rune of when I played Dwarfs back in 8th edition so it must be slang hangover from that) and LA is light armour, but I'll about such jargon in future 👍

Thanks 👍 Scorpions are incredible, not sure why they've been given 'all the rules' though! I may try out a couple of caskets. Their damage relies on failed Ld tests which is unreliable but I think they could also be used well for their defensive spell too, I believe it stacks so giving the enemy minus 2 to hit my whole army could be interesting

Thanks for the comment. Flaming attacks doesn't remove regeneration in ToW - go figure! RE the K'daii killing a a scorpion, I thought so too but I just ran the numbers and it's absolutely brutal - the scorpion hits 2 key breakpoints (WS4 and T5) which reduces both of the K'daii's rolls to a measly 4+. On top of that it gets a 6 up armour and a 6 up regen - 10 K'daii attacks only average 1.7 wounds to a scorpion! Their blazing body rule adds another 0.2 wounds but it's still not great. They really want to be blazing through WS2/3 T3 infantry. I believe they should have a 5+ ward, heavy armour, a 3rd wound, or a stomp attack - just *something* to sweeten the deal.

@@Arctovianyeah... hitting on 4+, wounding on 4+ means 2,5 wounds. 2,08 against regen 6+. 0,37 wounds from Blazing Bodies on top of that. I do not see the 6+ armour of scorpion but I might have missed something. True... Only Flammable works with flaming attacks... Man those K'daii are so fragile. Not very playable I believe.

@michaciemniewski9791 Scorpions have heavy armour (whereas the K'daii who literally have armour modelled on them have nothing 🤷‍♂️) so against the -1 from the K'daii they'd still get a 6+ save 👍
