That was the last time I stood in the boys pen as a 15 year old... we had to keep an eye on one of my mates, as his cousin was a Spurs fan... he got quite exited at 1-1 !.

this was played on a Sunday. went up on the rattler with a few Spurs mates.. we were 15.. OB made us get off at Edge Hill station. & walk the 3 miles in an escort to Anfield.. marched us bk to same station after the game.. was fucking freezing that day..

Yeah the great days of the start of a severe global recession caused by the 1979 Energy Crisis and resulting in record unemployment in the UK which lasted for the first half of the 80s. Not to mention various wars, terrorist bombings, John Lennon murdered etc.
