Lovely. I’ve enjoyed watching your art get better and better over time. You’re in the big time now girl! Is your cell activator the same as it was in video 028? I use your recipe. Thanks

Omg! I can’t wait to achieve have at least one third of this talent🙌🏼 are you in the USA? What is xour ingredients for the CA??

What they usually use for these bloom results cell activator is Flood Floetrol (Australian Foetrol is the best it has different ingredients in it) and Amsterdam titanium White or black depending on what colour you want to swipe with, It is a runnier consistency than those of the paints, which can be fairly thick. I have seen artists use other paints with the floetrol, and they still work, it is just about trial and error. Have a look through the video play list on this site I think she does explain these things in them. Another US Acrylic Pour Artist that has loads of tutorials and specific videos on different techniques etc is Tammy Anderson. But check out this artists site first, she is one of the best at this technique, she is understated rather than just flooding the canvas and then titling everything off, she importantly keeps some negative space.😉

Hi I'm actually getting selective who I watch using this technique, because whilst it produces amazing cells and lacing they are all becoming too similar and predictable. I still enjoy and watch yours. You are so much more an artist with your pours than Shelee who I know you are an affiliate for. But you have left her behind in your dust. I am from Australia where Shelee is from, so I am sincere in my praise, and the comment that I make now is not so much directed at you because you do pull back some. What I have found is frustrating or perhaps a loss of appeal with this style/technique is more accurate is that artists go to all the creative effort in placing the colours (especially with you, you are more original) and how and where to swipe to get an effect, which looks amazing, then its tilted and stretch (I know this is supposed to add to the cells and lace patterning), usually all off the edges and what looked amazing to start with has disappeared. Yes there are lovely colours, cell and lacing but there is no originality they all have that sameness. I did not mind how yours finally look you kept a certain amount of white space, But I so much preferred it before all that beautiful colour and the pattern from the swipes went over the edge. The piece look more like the Road Not Travelled up to that stage. I know its all about personal preference. But please keep on keeping it different from all the other bloom swipe pourers.🤗

Candice, thank you so much for your praise and feedback. It means so much to me. I agree with you 100% and know that I need to be true to my style even if it is not mainstream. Stay well! ❤️Sonja

@@RisenSunAcrylics Hey Sonja. It was pleasing to hear your reply and maturity in realising what I was trying to convey in my message. Unfortunately, many of the artists I was watching, and providing my similar honest feedback were not happy (neither their viewers in particular), and that is ok, in so much as they attack me personally, whereas any criticism, feedback is directed at the process they are doing not their personalities, even in my comments about Shelee (again the process). I am an ex teacher and that is not what I am about. I am always about growth, development, education and taking chances, stretching oneself and where possible thinking out side of the square, which usually comes from not just patting people on the back and saying WOW isn't it nice. As a teacher we have to give feed back that is often not easy to take but it is essential. that is not easy to do for the teachers, but our jobs is not always to be nice and take the easy way out. I would definitely not stand up in a class of children and say, ok right today we are going to do art or anything and then tell them they had to reproduce what I was doing or produce something the same. That is copying, let me lead you and you can follow. Its okay sometimes, probably for the very young to some degree but I am no fan of it. It is the Pied Piper approach. Fortunately, art has evolved because of individuality, being willing to make people question art, and make us think, and those greats before us, who were not appreciated in their time but only after they passed. In all the replies back to me they would just parrot, "well thats art, we all like something different, so if you don't like it don't watch". And that is just it and what my comments were about if they actually took time to read and accurately interpret what I was conveying. The art I was referring to was not different, it was the same. Plus I am happy not to watch, I said as much. What I did however, was provide feedback. It took me quite some time to give this feedback, in the hope it would provide some food for thought. I presumed I was communicating with adults not children and did not need to sugar coat my comments so much. Gosh how wrong I was. I realised why so many people just don't bother and unsubscribe. Anyway again my hat of to you for acknowledging and understanding where I was coming from. Keep up your individuality. Cheers 🎨 🥰
