Do you buy your black base pre tinted at store or do you add the black yourself?

Bought it ready to use, but added some high flow paints to adjust the tint ( make it more black).

So pretty!! How would results change if don't use house paint as base? If you just used regular acrylic??

Thanks! In some cases it may not; it depend on what you are looking to accomplish. If working on a full bloom, the house paint is more "stretchy" and will allow you to stretch our you cell a lot farther. If you are doing a series of swipes, you may be able to get away with using regular acrylic paint, but you won't have as much "stretch"

I do that, then wreck with a paint brush end, then I spin it. It turns out so beautiful.

I'm a beginner, so please excuse my ignorance! lol I don't understand where, at 20:35, a black note pops up which says "Black Cell Activator". Is that a different paint mixture from your flooded paint? What differentiates black pouring paint from Cell Acrivator? What do you put in the Cell Activator? Thanks for answering.

That’s awesome!!! Is there a hint of interference color in there too? The camera is showing it in different spots with a bluish green cast

I have a question. When you say “interference” what does that mean? Is that another way of saying CA??

It’s a paint color. It appears to be clear, but as you move it and lights hits it, it will show the interference color, in this case green.
