I have read where this is a very common problem with this year model on Sentras. you can find the motor mount on eBay for as little as $36. i will be doing the same on mine. great video. thanks for sharing.

Hi Thank you for you video, by any chance do you know if the passenger and the driver side are the same? Because a was searching for the right side but no way be find anywhere.

Is not the oil pan a weak area for providing jack support? obviously it did not damage in your case, but did you just got lucky? I heard 1A auto saying not to jack up under the oil or trans fluid pans.

For all the people doing this now these arent brand new anymore you need to put a peice of wood or something with alot of surface area in between your jack and the oil pan if you wanna support the engine from there

thanks for sharing. Have to replace the same mount on my Sentra. What did you jack the engine by, oil pan/transmission (did you use wood in between)? My mount has been torn for years, is there any change the new mount will not fit? How come you don't use a torque wrench, won't you over tighten the screws?

Yes i used a block of wood, and i got it from AutoZone, it was a perfect fit. And Yes I do Recommend using a torque wrench to just double check it. However, I have been doing this for a while, and have never over tighten or under tighten a bolt yet. Just use common sense when and when not to use an impact wrench.

Could you please let me know where you purchased it from ? What brand is it? direct from Nissan ? And price ? Also I am getting a lot of shaking/noise from the car when putting in reverse or drive.

Go to Rockauto.com for best prices. You might need to change the other 3 as well. One on the bottom, one on the transmission side and the torch mount transmission side.
