UHD-07 replacement with some sound track corrections. In late October 2020 I began experimenting with locations and new camera settings. Some are better than others but it's all part of a new learning. This volume has three main themes, the EF class, the Capital Connection and lastly hard working single DL's up and down on both sides of the Kaimai tunnel. These large trains show single DL class at their best with heavy loads up and down grades on the ECMT in the BOP and Waikato. Even my trusty Zoom digi recorder can't replicate the ear splitting sound of these big V-20's as they pass below. I also added a short Dc clip at Waitoa which was about to depart as I arrived.
The opening title shot sees a long EF led train filling the main Bunnythorpe dip, I chose to use this long train filling the dip as the video was spoiled with ground shake as the train passed by. In fact many of the sequences in this volume I was fighting nature in the form of high winds and shaky ground, sorry but I am doing my best on both counts.....
There has been a big delay with this volume as I was changing my PC OS, that and some background software interference caused me to have to back track and re edit all my daily edits retrospectively some months. The only obvious sign in this volume are slightly different fonts on the sub titles as I experimented with various softwares..... I hope that you get some enjoyment from this one hour video.
