7 young engineers at Lamborghini's factory were trying to make a car that could be an ideal car for both racing as well as driving on streets. Their work was mostly carried out during off hours. They planned on a car that would carry the engine in the middle for a better weight distribution. The engine would sit transversely and directly on top and fused to the gear box to save space. Their car will seat low to the ground to increase efficiency. And hearing about it, Mr Ferruccio Lamborghini started liking the idea. The first layout was publicly shown in 1965.
Next year at the 1966 Geneva show, they planned to show a more detailed offering. Bertone was tasked to design the car, and a young designer Mercello Gandini finished the prototype design just days before the event.
The new model was named after a Spanish fighting Bull - Miura. The same raging bull was incorporated into a logo for the car. A logo that still remains in use as Lamborghini's official logo.
And thus came out the most spectacular and arguably the very first of the modern 'supercars'. The model got developed from the initial prototype to the P400, then into the model S, then to the upgraded final production version called SV (short for Sprinto Veloce meaning "sprint to go faster").

In our videos, we share with enthusiasts our joy in collecting these scale replicas. We share with you what to expect. You may spot imperfections, paint rashes, chrome spots, lose ends. Ours are real models from our own collection, and an effort to showcase these pieces in whatever state they come in.
We are not saying 100% of the pieces out there will have exact same issues, same rashes at the same places. We understand luck may have a big part to play on the overall experience of acquiring and owning our much loved items.
