'Cause you'd be right, but still an asshole. Were you trying to make Mike feel better? It seemed like you were minimizing his feelings and gaslighting him. Either way, leave him the fuck alone. I'm not a big fan of his, but this has got to be one of the most human moments he's shared. I really hope you were trying to cheer him up. But I do see the haters, regardless. A broken heart is something I wouldn't wish upon anybody. Life really sucks sometimes. It's not about conditional relativism, it's about how one feels. You act like he's a billionaire crying about his jet needing repairs.

Poker is a HUGE grind for 99% of people. Very time consuming, mind consuming, Draining, tiring, major highs/excitement and huge lows filled with anger and frustration, steaming. Its the sponsored/endorsed Pros (like Daniel negreanu, phil hellmuth etc etc) always on TV (buy ins covered for free, travel covered, hotels covered) and playing super high stakes with rich amateurs/celebs/businessmen that its really fun and super lucrative for. Again this is a very small %. The difference is lifestyle for them is night and day different from the usual Poker pro or poker player grinding it out smaller stakes behind the scenes everyday

Matusow seems a lot more unhappy. He gives a sense of extreme misery every time I see him. It's not hard to pick up on unfortunately. He looked high as a kite at the beginning as well. I hope it was just him tired, maybe he just woke up.

Hey Mike. You should try a carnivore diet, plus some berries and nuts. It helped me a lot mentally to not eat sugar, grains, pasta, rice etc.

Back in the day, the 90s, I was into the bodybuilding scene...had a breakup that was painful from a 2 year intense relationship...not 3 or 4 months later in the gym, I'm sitting against the wall resting, she walks in with a new guy and literally starts using the machine I'm next to and acts like she'd never seen me before...didn't go use something else, didn't have an awkward moment, didn't change her demeanor or anything, just ahppily carried on as if i was a complete stranger. I was flabbergasted at the total non chalantness of it. Point being, hang in there Mike...the world isn't coming to an end. All the bad stuff feathers out sooner or later. Don't let any of the cruel heartless worthless people have any effect on you. Fuck em all. Life goes on, and they go away.

Listen Mike, stop complaining. The fact that she was placed next to you is a sign that you have to overcome the narrative in your head about her or any other woman and move on. She's 1 in 400b women on Earth. Surely you can do better than someone who lies to you, does you dirty, etc. You will never respect yourself or be happy when you place it in the hands of someone else. You had a good perspective in the beginning about it and then let yourself slip into negativity again. You are the only one that can turn things around and create that positivity in your life. Universe/God does the rest. Stand tall and be positive. You have a great life. You get to play poker for a living, you live in Vegas, eat the best food, etc etc. You need to change your perspective and narrative. You can be reborn in a sense when you do that.
