i’ve been an ol lady for a while, and there is a huge difference between an ol lady who thinks she is entitled to anything and everything, and an ol lady who the brothers/members actually want around. there is a reason some ol ladies get invited on runs and to events and some don’t. you have to know your place. you have to know when to shut up, when to keep quiet, and how to behave around certain people. you can be close to your old man’s brothers because they are your family, but you also have to understand that not all chapters and not all clubs are the same. you have to know that members come first, and any friendships you have with some of the guys doesn’t always exist in the presence of other members/clubs. one bad ol lady can cause issues and embarrassment to a chapter/club. i’ve always believed that ol ladies should be voted in, and should also lose their patches if necessary.

I leave my ol lady & kid at home for a reason. This is a man's club period. My property knows her place. By my side, under my protection, my responsibility, supporting me or holding the homestead down while I'm on 2. Now if we have a family event or open house that's for everyone. That's important. That's called balance. Now don't get me wrong my Ol Lady is about that life and will handle HER business if she feels she need. Point blank never address the Property hold your brother accountable for their actions. MC Protocol 101. Females fall back. Fellas you'll get your man'card pulled and lose a metric ton of respect from your brothers if they feel like your property controls your patch. This world isn't for everyone. That's why it's called the 1%

Old ladies don't have a hierarchy in a man's club, but a good old lady can make a better brother just as a bad one can break him. My advice to every brother is to never (ever) let in the club a girl they've been dating for 2 or 3 months. Even when the relationship starts getting more mature and serious you are still at a crossroads: either let her in all the way or not at all. There is no middle ground, just as a member can't be half in and half out, the same goes for the old lady. But if you decide on the first, make sure that you are with the right person, a girl who will be 1000% supportive to you, first and foremost, and to the club (is there a reason to be in a serious relationship with someone who wouldn't be supportive? ) . Now when a lady gets out of bounds, it's a brother's job to put her in check. The 1st thing that should be done is for her man to be informed of the situation if he is not aware of it. A respectful lady will get respect and love back from every member and it is genuine love. I remember when one of my brothers died 3 years ago, we were taking turns staying at his home making sure that his wife is ok (and doesn't do anything stupid) and our wives were there with us, because we loved our brother and we love his family. After all is said and done, clubs are built on love between brothers, and when romance comes to a brother's life, that is more love added to that existing love. I get brought into “club business” because I am a paramedic and have 20+ years as a hospital corpsman in the Navy. I feel that I am treated better, trusted, and respected a little more than the other ol’ ladies because of my profession. I am also the unofficial “doc” for many of the brothers. Me and her talk we have no secrets we don't hide anything from each other. Yeah granted I am not in a club around here anymore but I am good with that. And at the days end I know that she has been here for me even when some of my closest friends my childhood brothers were left and lost along the road at a bar. Some people don’t feel the same way and I feel that’s because they don’t see it as what it is, a privilege.Going into that situation (being a 1% is old lady) you already know what you’re getting into. It is none of your business what club business goes on! It is a man’s world and you have no say so. Good morning Gho⚡️tin Sose. In the Sicilian/Italian groups the wife’s girlfriends old ladies know nothing about business and have no voice. It serves a couple of purposes such as keeping secrecy of the organization because the less they know also protects the ladies and they don’t become targets of law enforcement. If you think back to WW2 the mantra was loose lips sink ships and that worked quite well. Why put the the safety and security of everyone at risk and as you said my brother there are those who think they have rank or power and just cause more drama which in turn eventually destroys the organization from within. Growing up around the scene and with my rents. My mom wouldn’t allow certain things to come home or to be brought around her or us kids. My dad would try too and she would say nope. That’s your business the home and kids are mine. You do your thing and that was it. But he wasn’t a 1% or anything like that. Now on the other hand my father in law is different he is old school 1% and shit didn’t get brought up or around women they knew their place and was to behave accordingly. I was always taught respect the members hold yourself accountable for your actions and if you cross lines expect your ass to get a beat down. That’s why I never disrespect and I always address the women first. Ladies it’s more respectful to introduce yourself to the ladies first because you might slip up and fuck up and you don’t want that. Be mindful of the club the members and the women. Know your place period.

The patch member is responsible for his old lady 100% of the time. Doesn't matter how small or how big of an issue. You can't even get a Property patch for an old lady unless she's been around for a year or more in my neck of the woods. But I've seen pillow talk happen and the old lady's know more than half the chapter about certain things. That's the shit that should be shut down on the spot. Especially if a brother has an issue with an old lady and she knows too much about anything....game over. Too late. Can't change the past and now club business got out to the law. If an old lady disrespects somebody, 99.9% of the time, they go straight to her man and sort it out right there and he takes a dot to the eye if need be. That's the old school way of handling it.

I ride my Ole Man doesn't... at least not any more. I was road captain of the MC i was with and still ride with some of my brothers in 1% culture. Any club I’ve been around 1% or family clubs, the ol’ladys are mor less in cliques hang with ppl they get a long with,, in my “Years” of doing this ol’ lady’s have no place in a mans club period. But they will talk, and jus like bro’s ,the sisters have each others back, especially the ones that have been around for a few years. I have known of clubs that mud-checked some of those types of old ladies, it worked every time sad to say that is what it took.
