Hello friends in this we have talked about the most effective way to study.
According to the most famous book written by Barabara Oakley :- “A Mind For Numbers: How to Excel at Maths and Science”. Our Brain works in two modes. One is a Focused Mode and another is a Diffused Mode.
To cover the syllabus we must switch our brains from focused mode to diffused mode and vice-versa.
Another method that I personally use is a 3 level strategy to study.
1) Level 1:- This is the understanding level or the “BIG PICTURE” level. In this level we don’t concentrate on the facts, figures and other memory based data. We focus on the key points which are essential to understand the chapter.
2) Level 2:- This is the memorization part. Now it’s time to remember all the facts and figures. The best way to do it is to teach someone. One way of doing this is to record your audio files. This will also help you in the time of revision.
3) Level 3:- It says prepare for the test. You have to do exactly what your paper asks. Do last 10 years. Solve lots of Mock tests. Get into the mind of the paper setter. But never do something that is not in your syllabus.
