4:07 I just wanna say this is a guess to the answer of why this happens. Your brain will perceive it saying that by focusing on the certain one that blocks out the other one somewhat, therefore once it plays a noise it is neither green needle or brainstorm but rather what your brain perceives as what it is saying based on what you’re reading. Your eyes hear like ears. Sometimes seeing someone make a sound is one thing but if closing your eyes to the right sound it sounds not like three or so sounds but rather one true sounds. Your eyes are deceiving. This is just a theory though. Edit: I experimented and by closing my eyes or completely ignoring it when it starts it swaps continuously from green needle and brainstorm. Theory: this is a mind game and it is played by perception.
