He not only showed that he can keep the ball and run for first downs, he does what every college recruit is drooling over and that's his ability to take command in the pocket and deliver the ball with that amazing arm.

That is true. He's the only reason SJB beat MD in the title game last year. Had a ridiculous amount of rushing yards. DJ will get better as the year goes on, but so will MD. If they meet again with DJ at the helm, expect a similar outcome. In fact, expect worse as MD fumbled away a likely TD deep in SJB territory. Should have been 38-21 or 42-21.

1) Mater Dei's defense hits hella hard. They are physical as hell and would give ANY offense a hard time. Not every game has that crushing decleat hit so you can't judge based off just one game. 2) What are you talking about "where do most of the college athletes come from..."?? Just go on 247 football recruiting and look at how many Cali kids there are. Just last year Bama got the #1 recruit Najee Harris from CA and he was balling on Georgia in the natty. Plus IMG recruits a lot of our best players like Bookie Radley-Hiles and TJ Pledger so they end up making Florida recruiting look better. Also, Cali supplies the entire PAC-12 conference with talent. Washington, Oregon, Arizona, and Nevada need to start producing more because there isn't enough talent in those states to strengthen the conference. I'll admit that the Southeast overall is better than the west coast because no lie football is in yalls blood. Love watching some of those teams like Grayson, Hoover, Miami Central etc. But California's best teams would go toe to toe with ANY team from the South and that's a fact bro.
