I saw emotions in this video. Well done on composition here. PS: wait a second or two with captions, I mean before you say (the important thing), one can read them. I think postponing each of them by 2 sec would make your storytelling more impactful.

Für mich als absolute Amateurin in Sachen Fotografie-Theorie sind das wieder mal ganz tolle Tipps. Ich bin ein "Bauchgefühl"-Knipser und löse einfach aus, wenn mir was besonders gut gefällt, ohne Gedanken an Linien, Kompositions-Architektur etc. ;). Hallo Chris, das Bauchgefühl sollte man gar nicht unterschätzen, das kann zu richtig guten Fotos führen. Es ist natürlich schon ein großer Vorteil wenn man sich mit der Architektur von Bildern beschäftigt, aber das Wichtigste ist auf jeden Fall der Spaß an der Sache 😉 Vielen lieben Dank und schöne Grüße aus dem Salzkammergut, Christian

Guilty m'lud. Too often I get the camera out when I should pause, walk around, think about the light, think about the vista, think about detail, think macro, think time dilation etc, etc.

Hi Berny, thank you for your insights, my friend! In my experience, we all have to deal with that from time to time. I mean, there is in general nothing bad with looking for lines, shapes, and patterns, for instance. Important is just that we consider the narrative 😊 Have a great Sunday, Christian

Good video, thanks. I often find raw files that I was not focused on when I took them so I check my pictures again after one to two year. Are you using 25mm? I think I will get a 2nd hand Zeiss Milvus 25mmF1.4 for use on a FF camera for woodland. My father was an architect and my sister is selling her own paintings. I stated taking photo serious the year 2008
