About 15 years ago I caught a Winter fish on Smith River out of Reedsport Oregon that was miss I ng its Adipose and Dorsel fin. It was the only one I had heard of.

You know it's tough fishing when these 2 struggle on their home river. That was a great buck! And yes, seems strange there would be a Coho that bright in the river still. Is there a late run there? On any other day, woulda called that a great bonus fish!

You can catch steelhead When you are reeling in your float rigs in from the 1st drift through the hole It can be done And that's why I like chasing steelhead 4

The hatchery steelhead can rub the dorsals off in the rearing tanks. I've seen quite a few that this has been the case.

I'm so sorry to hear what happened to big Dave's cabin!!!! I'm so sorry but he is so strong and I know somehow he is finding a way to still have that big Dave smile! I wish I could come help clean up I am willing to come do free work as long as needed... I just feel terrible!!!!!
