The Michael Douglass de aging in Ant Man is still the best effect I've ever seen. It's flawless.

It's very good, but there is a slightly odd glow, if you're looking for it.

Samuel L in captain marvel is the best de-aging ever put on film.

Imagine thinking you need to de-age someone as hot as Jennifer Connelly, who has barely aged in 20 yrs for a significant part of the movie.

She was 38 in Day the Earth stood still. Not exactly "old" but still drop dead gorgeous. Those cheekbones & beautiful eyes, she's as quietly beautiful as any woman I've ever seen. Surprised she's not a bigger star, maybe she just doesn't want to be. Not so much but the same with Jennifer Garner but still beautiful.

I agree and would gladly take part in whatever sacred or satanic ritual needs to take place in order to keep her and Jennifer Aniston forever young

De-aged or not, Jennifer has one of the most beautiful faces I've ever seen. Ironically, she only has gotten even more beautiful in her 30s and 40s.

Does Palpatine count as De-aging if he wasn't de-aged? 😂
@shaggyfrankdizzl16 күн бұрын
I know right?!? Wtf is that about. He's not de-aged he's simply playing an earlier version of himself. Who writes this crap? Side note: the best de-aging of all time is Samuel L in captain marvel but of course it's not on the list. 🤦♂️

Long live practical effects.

De-aging has ironically, not aged well, as higher resolution displays betray the effect. But seeing some of these older films on DVD or Blu-ray meant a better result (only because everything else looked worse)

It only really works when the actor (or their stand in) still acts like an younger person Young Michael Douglas worked well because he still carried a youthful arrogance Young Jeff Bridges did not work because he did not have his younger attitude

I take it you've never seen Tess, 186 minutes of hemorrhoid inducing pain. Hard to believe Nastassja Kinski was also in Cat People. Not the greatest movie but Ed Begley's arm being torn off was memorable. 🤫
