Being a Golden Retriever Owner I can tell that it's not as easy as it seems to raise a Goldie. Even though they are one of the most intelligent and gentle dogs, there are quite a few challenges that every new parent goes through. So I decided to share all the advice and tips for raising a Golden Retriever.

Golden Retriever is my choice too; I now have Dave, I re-homed him when he was 8 months (he was an unwanted ‘lockdown dog’) and had never been walked on a lead until I got him plus he wasn’t socialised with other dogs a a young age; he’s been quite challenging but at 22 months he’s now ‘normal’. My experience over 30+ years has been that girls are a bit easier in most respects…..Dave has got ‘attitude’ and is strong willed! 🇬🇧

Mines a shih poo, which is a poodle and a Shih Tzu, and she is soo scared of everyone and everything. I don’t know how to make her overcome it because I want her to my emotional support doggie

Golden retriever is our number one. We had two before. The current one is 8 months old and full of energy and then crashes/sleeps like a button was pressed. Goldie is her name and while sound a sleep she is up at the sound of movement. She does not want to miss anything going on especially involving food. ❤🎉
