My girl Sandy lived to be 16! She was an amazing dog! Always happy to, would greet me at the door with whatever she could find and let out the cutest howls and growls, never had to use a leash for our walks either, she would literally stop and wait for me to catch up if she got to far ahead. One of the funniest things about her was that she hated water 🤣 a golden that hates water?! I didn’t raise her from a pup but from the time she was 9 until she passed. I got to have 7 amazing years with that girl, she’s been gone for a long time now and I still think about her almost every day.

Golden Retrievers are often dumped at shelters and rehomed.. check that first. dont support breeders it results in the very dogs that end up being killed by shelters... i got mine thru a rehoming page. he was only 1 yt old.. hes beautiful but he needed to be groomed and fed properly. he eats The Farmers Dog and home cooking now. hes doing great...

We have derby chickens tied at home. My dad's cockfighting pets.. it was our first time to have a golden puppy around 5months.. the puppy pulled off the head of the chicken and handed it to us.. I thought it was a ball.. but the ball has a beak.. it was then I realized it was the head of the chicken 😂😂😂. Oh no! My dad was so crazy mad that his chicken died.. the chicken body still intact.. but our Goldie cut off the chicken head.. 😂😂 I tried explaining to dad that out puppy is a fowl retriever.. from then on, my dad puts the chickens in the dog cage, while our puppy is let loose 😂😂😂
