Thanks for the info on Ellies Garage chest and the 3rd on in Reliance. I farm that with my Fl4k because every other loading regens the red chest.

i was having somewhat decent luck with the two chests at the Mother of Grogons spawn at the Anvil. From the Spawn point, you just walk to the next room, chest in the center, then 180, enter the tunnel and another chest.

Alas hq has a pretty good one, 4 white chests near force troopers. Also when you 1st meet Wainwright and he invites you in you can repeatedly farm those 2 chests if u just save/quit.

That red chest out in the middle of nowhere in Carnivora dropped a Storm Front for me. I kind of love it.

Unrelated to farming, I dropped my bekah to inspect some other legendary I got from farming graveward. I also had picked up a nagata grenade mod beforehand. I threw the nagata, my game crashed, and I lost my bekah. I attempted to dashboard, but to no avail. I’ve since been in mourning the loss of one of my best weapons

A good one not mentioned here is the Captain Traunt route. In Athena. Just take the bridge to fight him and he has 3 chests in his lair that opens up after he dies. Then u leave out the other side and u find 2 more chests as u head back towards the checkpoint. It’s extremely quick too. Plus u can fight 2 other rare enemies close by for loot as well. I’d argue that’s a better route than many of these.

In Carnivora if you're farming eridum there are actually 2 chests just after the New-U station that you can open adding less than 30 seconds to each run :D

There's a really good run right next to where the boss that drops the redline shotgun (overwatch Easter egg). There are two white chests and two portapotty chests. They're all very close to one another and they all respawn on save/quit. Plus you get to farm the boss 😉.

Kill traunt, loot 3 chest behind him and 2 under where you spawn. Also Carnivora is the worst map ever made..

Number 1 is actually the vault of the destroyer. If you don't finish the final quest after beating tyreen she won't respawn but you can still loot the vault. 2 red chests and 2 normal chests. Smaller but with the amount of time it takes you can farm 8 chests in the same time it takes to farm 3. Obviously you'd need to be in tvhm to make it viable though

In reliance there were 2 more you reveal from "the rougesight" mission. they are just out the gate and near two batches of enemies.

Turned the Power Trooper farm into a chest farm. 1 right before you use the shortcut up to them. Then farm the troopers. Then jump down to lower level from the first chest for a second one.

I've heard that red chests are on a ~45 minute respawn timer, but I haven't tested the actual timer myself. You could suggest rotating around a few different maps doing chest runs, leaving enough time for red chests in the first map to respawn by the time you made it back.

On skywell there is another white chest just past the last 2 you pointed out. Go up behind the teleporter and behind a set of stairs is another

here is my chest farming tactic also remember mayhem mode 1-10 level also know that there will be no enemies unless if they spot you when your near the bridge, spawning at knotty peak is also viable 1 go to the town in floodmore basin 2 open the chests in there 3 make a vehicle and go left go past knotty peak and stop to the right of the bridge 4 shoot all targets on the bridge to their right 5 hit the target next to you on the platform and run down to this door under the bridge 6 loot all of it and see what you get 7 leave the game, rejoin and do it again

I was told that chests, like the one where you fight Gigamind have a lockout timer on them and reset after a period of time.

I know about a chest that can be opened around every minute and a half, I must have opened that chest at least a hundred times on TVHM Mayhem 3 and I didn't get a SINGLE legendary out of it while playing slaughter shaft yielded around 80 - 100 legendaries in around 4 hours of gameplay. By the way the chest I opened again and again was a red one.

That wasnt bad at all. Use a couple of those my self (especially the iridium farm red chest). Theres a really good load and close single chest at the mannor. Where the dinosaurs are past the witch mission, just stay left. Theres a chest and save locator. Open, quit, continue, repeat. On xbox w/ a SSD, it takes less than a minute per chest (strictly due to load times) but there's zero enemies so super safe even in tier 3.

Number 3 is probably my favourite. Then kill katagawa ball for a long but usually successful farm

Atlas Hq is the best 5-6 chests with a chance at legandary class mods from the rare spawn.

What is this "red chest don't refill" stuff? I've farmed some of these red chests and NEVER had an issue where they were open or didn't give loot.

I love the routes but if it were me I would be killing all the enemies along the way instead of avoiding them

Does the cube in desolations edge ever reset naturally? I farmed it 4 times on tvhm but now it's just cracked. For about 3 weaks.

On Mayhem 4, I feel like the loot in white chests is usually better than red chests. Certainly, not in Mayhem, the Reds contain better loot....and on Mayhem red chests usually contain purple and blues, but I find legendaries in white chests far more frequently.

Atlas HQ definitely number 1 chest farm route in my opinion

The best chest farm is in konrads hold just outside the door to the slaughter shaft. You go to the room with the vending machines and there is a chest there, go over the broken bridge and there is 2 more chests with a porta john. Go back to the vending machine room and head out go right and down the side where that cave is, there is a chest next to the door and there are 4 more chests inside the cave. (plus an easy mini boss that drops a lot of legendaries for me on M3, quest mission)

not mention of truant? athenas boss fight after words there 4 white chest and one red chest u can loot. and with him dropping tons of world drops it seems like the fastest and best place to farm the chest

Sky well 24 has a red Maliwan chest in the engine go into it before it fires go to the left

Do red cheat have a timer in them. A few times I quit and restarted the red cheat were still opened and could not be opened again. I’ve seen people online say there was a 40-45 minute timer on them but i don’t know if it’s true or not.

Shoot that floating cube in Desolation's Edge. Shoot each side with a different elemental weapon and it will drop a bunch of loot, including one or 2 legendary. One time thing.

Konrads hold has a great chest farm, right next to a vending machine. 3 chests and porta potty, run takes 30 seconds. message me for where.

Hey I assume your on pc.. I’m on PS4 I’m able to save and quit and all chests are instantly respawned with legendarys . Online and offline . Not sure why it would be different

There's no reason to ever farm chests outside of getting red chest 100% completion. It is time consuming, inconsistent whether they'll all spawn and extremely boring to do.

Just shoot inside all the squares withe all different elements the squares require different elements and just save quit over and over again

That eridium chest in Reliance, is NEVER there for me....not once, not ever. I wonder why? Dude, how could you not include Atlas HQ? There has to be at least 7 white chests and one red chest, most without having to even see any enemies. Set it to Mayhem 4, clear your inventory, and bathe in a mountain of purple and legendary gear. Also, I think the white versus red chest difference in BL2, is no linger the case in BL3. On Mayem 4, I get a TON of legendaries from white chests.

From what I understand, the red chests are for the most part on a 45 minute timer.

Just fight a vault, go into the vault and open the chests there, it's more fun
