@rb2718 Complete nonsense. If it wasn't for his goal contributions, we'd have no trophies. Football is a team game, and Tav has excelled for Rangers since he walked through the door.

He's also cost us countless trophies with his pathetic defensive abilities so to say we would not have won any without him is "nonsense" my friend.

Nah thank you D C. Love to hear it. Trophy count on paper obviously doesn't stand up well next to other greats to wear the armband but put any of them in his shoes and they'd have the same medal tally for me.

Your analysis of his Europa League goals was top class, and it got me a wee bit emotional. Those nights were genuinely amongst the happiest of my entire life. I'm as gutted as any Rangers man that we didn't win the trophy in the end, but I'm just as gutted for Tav because it would have immortalised him. The fact that some fans still can't seem to put respect on his name is disgraceful. I seen people even digging him out after the recent loss at Celtic Park. He scored two goals ffs. What more do you want from him? I fear some folk won't appreciate just how good he is until he's gone.

Your videos are always brilliant pal. My seat is in the main stand middle tier, level with the Copland road 6 yard box. I’ll never forget that goal against Dortmund…. robbed of a goal against one of Europe’s best and we still marched on. WATP.

It has to be said that Tav isnt the greatest of defenders but having contributed 100 goals from right back and having provided so many assists , its clear why hes in the team week in and week out . I honestly think that Tav could easily play right midfield should we get a decent right back .

Hes shown improvement under Clement . We havent conceded as many opportunities down the left when Tav has gone awol . He appears to be more disciplined and is a better captain under the new gaffer !

Was in a pub at the end of last year watching us against Aberdeen. One guy was loudly complaining about everything we were doing, which you get used to with us Rangers fans. But when he said "Tavernier is the worst Rangers captain we've ever had", I've never been more tempted to start throwing hands 😅. Probably the worst take I've heard in a while

Totally agree. People talk about Barry Ferguson's freekick in the cup final in 2002 and, don't get me wrong, it's a peach, but Tav's is on another level entirely. The guy's technique is insane.

Great video and outstanding achievement but let’s be brutally honest here during tavs era we as a club are looking at Celtic dominance. Tav for the most part as good as he’s been statistically will be remembered as a rangers player throughout that Lots most dominant time in their history.

As much as you'd love him to, he came along at the wrong time for England. Genuinely looking at their tournament squads in years past I think he'd have been in contention though. 2002 in particular where Danny Mills and Jamie Carragher were their options with Neville injured, he'd have been there.

Can’t deny he has been poor defensively this season, the squad review video kind of touched on why I’m open to it just being a bad year as I don’t think he has been given credit for his improvement in that area since he signed. He was REALLY bad defensively pre-Gerrard and gradually got better until this year.
