2017 : Real would have been qualified even without Cristiano's goals (4-3 on aggregate). 2024 : whether the offside whistle was justified or not, Real defenders and goal keeper stopped playing when they heard it. By then, De Ligt was basically scoring a goal against no one. Bad refereeing ? Maybe, but also a fake goal.

Maybe, but also a fake goal. Also, referee was clearly not on Real's side as he had no problem cancelling the initial equalisation (Nacho's foul) after checking the VAR.

@@godz4681 only dodgy referee decisions were agaisnt Almeria. What about against Valencia where the referee blew the whistle mid-cross and Bellingham scored? Yup, we def payed that ref. People only see what they want to see and not what the actual truth is. Real madrid have 28 disallowed goals, the highest in La liga by a margin of 10+ to second place. Don't talk about games you don't watch. And that ghost goal scored by Lamine would have counted if Laporta had voted for goal line technology rather than the increase in Tebas' salary.

I’m sorry, but number one has nothing to do with the champions league other than the scandal being prior to a final. Chelsea and Barca’s 2009 scandal has been the biggest in the competition’s history, especially after being revealed that Barcelona paid UEFA’s refereeing VP, Şenes Erzik.

It makes you wonder if barca were truly a good team, or if the club paying the Spanish and UEFA’s refereeing VPs played a larger role in winning titles. Also, Barcelona has not been acquitted on the barca-Negreira case, it is still under investigation.
