Everyone knows the top performing cEDH decks at this point, but what are some of the recent winners that you haven't heard of? Today we're taking a look at some Commanders that have recently had great performances at major events. I'll be breaking down 10 Commanders that had top placements in February, going over their deck lists, figuring out how they work, and giving you some reasons you may want to try them out.

Glad to see the Tameshi list, love that card and its very clearly CEDH bait, can cast for lotus and has more colours in the text box.

Marath!! That was the commander that branched me into a cEDH player. I loved Marath. You could ping small creatures, generate value with skullclamp. And then combo off. It was just so fun

my wife plays a TON of kalamx breach, very fun deck to control with as you get to double your first counter spell / tutors each turn

Cartel Aristocrat is part of a combo with Angel of Glory's Rise and Sakashima. Sakashima enters as Angele. You sacrifice it with the rez trigger on the stack with Cartel. And it technically brings itself back. You alternate Sacrifice Sefris at the same time. It's similar to the Abdel line. You can Buried Alive all three creatures. You can technically also use Yawgmoth, but it costs life. Sefris is just looping things in and out of the graveyard and winning through the dungeon drain 1.

marath is my first ever edh deck, i remember buys it because of some mistake, and switch to Kess and then TnK... never think it will be cedh available after the nerf...

Do you typically cover tournaments with less than 64 entrants? Or do they have to be specifically requested?

The angel of glory's rise is part of an infinite combo with sefris. It's known since sefris was spoiled. You buried alive angel, sakashima, and cartel aristocrat with sefris in play. Reanimate angel by sefris ability or some other way. Angel enters and triggers, returning all humans including sakashima and cartel aristocrat. Have sakashima come in as angel copy. Sakashima angel trigger on the stack, sac sakashima angel, then sefris and put sefris into graveyard not command zone. Trigger dungeon. Resolve the sakashima angel etb sakashima etb, bring sefris and sakashima back. Repeat infinite times to kill everyone with infinite dungeon triggers.

I've been working on sefris for years, I believe she has enormous potentially in the meta right now being able to operate almost entirely on triggers and creatures making her really hard to interact with.
