I might own a GTR R35 someday when I save enough money. However my top of the line dream car besides a Nissan 350Z is the legendary Nissan Skyline GTR R34 preferably V-Spec.

This is something that not many people know but the e60 m5 can be a very reliable car if you buy one in good condition and address the issues before they happen. Meaning you will have to spend some money on reliability mods, most owners avoid this due to the cost. However, if you truly want an m5 and have the money you can make the car reliable, the truth is an e46 m3 will still be the better car lol. However, if you are set on an m5 and have 30k, go for it.

Joelikescars...You must own a BMW mechanic shop trying to pull in new customers..After owning brand new Bmw's and audi's I will never buy on again ..Straight money pits after 100k.. Now I will only buy Lexus, infiniti, and dodge!!! Rather spend my money on aftermarket parts instead of silly repairs on plastic German parts they use

Actually I do my own maintenance on my cars but with bmw's and other euro cars you need special damn tools ..And obviously you haven't heard of the notorious vanos problems on these cars..My lexus ISF is fast as hell and I drive it like I stole it and no problems..Going on 150k miles and no problems..Can't say the same for a bimmer and that's why I made the switch to lexus!!! Can't beat the reliability of a Toyota baby!!!!

It'll start, then the heater dies, and the dash lights stop working, the wiring harness then needs replacing, water pump fails, rear shock disconnects and some random sensor trips and puts the car in limp mode. That's just on the 2 mile drive to the drag strip.

During a medical emergency I redlined my Scion Tc Gen2 on a straight highway, it's top speed was 150, it sounded like I was driving a machine-gun with it bouncing off the rec limiter every time I had the slightest decline

@@cashisking4691 hell yeah! Even sold it to someone for 10k! With 106k km on it, they loved how smooth it shifted and its responsive handling and acceleration, everyone whos driven it loves it! Scion Tc gen1 and gen 2 are both known for being cars that can be pushed far beyond their factory limits, without expensive or time consuming upgrades, and if taken care of, will outlast the owner's children easily (its a toyota after all)

As a proud owner of an s85 e63 M6, I can say with complete assurance that there is no way the E60 M5 is beating a GTR unless its tuned and it'll be waaaaaaay at the top end.

"dodge went insane a decade ago" - I think they went insane starting with the viper. Out of ALL the brands I've come to like for american cars, dodge has nailed it for me because I love my viper and it's the most obnoxious car i've ever had. It's just beautiful to see them putting hellcat motors in basically everything. If dodge was an oprah show, "YOU GET A HELLCAT ENGINE AND YOU GET A HELLCAT ENGINE, EVERYONE GETS HELLCAT ENGINES!". The Panamera is a sweet car, it's basically a modern day 928 with extra doors.

@@jj02mc27 Ehhhhh. Parts are getting hard to find and they can be an absolute PITA to work on. I suppose they are cheap but I don't know if I'd put them in the bargain faster than the gtr realm. Don't get me wrong, I love Porsches, and I've been a Porsche fanatic for a long time, but the price of entry usually doesn't match the cost of longterm maintenance lol.

Wait what? I don't think that all you said were true. All the cars that you mentioned were actually slower in every category. Well some of them were faster only than the 2009-10 model year GT-Rs. And you didn't mentioned anything about it. And yeah, in my opinion GT-R is the only car that can outrun supercars in every category with half of their's price tags. That's why it's freaking LEGENDARY!

Was looking into buying a z06 but unfortunately that ls7 has one major flaw that they didn’t do enough research to find which is funny cause it doesn’t take a lot to find. The valve guides tend to fail if they haven’t already been upgraded when they fail the valve will just drop straight into the cylinder, I don’t need to explain much further you can only imagine how much damage that’s gonna do. Then you’ll spend thousands of dollars to fix it. If you wanna buy one look for one with upgraded valve guides. The will be taxed on for sure so you’re looking at around 42k+ for a pretty good example

I owned a 08 e60 m5 for 5yrs and it held up well for me. I did my regular maintenance as needed. So owning one is hit or miss. I know 2 ppl that owned one and they had more issues than me.

gc8 impreza... you can do the full sti swap with mods for muchhhh less than a gtr and with around 400 whp you can get sub 11 second 1/4 mile times (cuz the first gen with a full interior was super light)

That's going to be REALLY hard to do. The Evo has an entirely different platform / drivetrain. The Lancer really can't be modified to Evo levels if I remember correctly.

130mph (on the clock) driving in a possibly modified used 1987 Ford Sierra 2.0 GLSi while racing a 1993 MK5 Escort RS2000. 140mph as a passenger in Cavalier GSi, E36 325i and Vauxhall Calibra 2.0 16v with red top engine.

You can make anything fast if you put your mind and money into it... People pick what they want. I had many cars in the past staring with muscle cars to German engineering M cars and all were Manuals. Personally i don't enjoy rwd cars. I wanted all season monster awd car and made move to GTR. Can't be more happy.

Yo guys whatsup. I got a question you know. These new cars lile the gtr , the hellcat etc... Are harder to tune? Because people always get to tune their beloved impreza and i wonder if they do because its easier? You see the gtr tunef should destroy most of them in theory maybe?

My dream car is an evo. i’m scared by the time i save enough money up for one they’ll be going of the same price as a used gtr😅

Over 200 mph on my Hayabusa 1300.. Used bike 🏍 for only 7k..Also GTR's reach 0- 60 around 2.9 to 3 seconds flat if you have a good drive..I've also owned and drove Hellcats and Z06's..Very fast but struggle to put power to the pavement..GTR's launch very hard and pull even harder!!! Trust me I've raced alot on my bikes 🏍!!!

I like R35 gtr but for half it price I love m4 and Evo VX

170ish with a tail wind in an Evo VIII. Bulletproof firewall saved my life at the same time it almost killed me…
