I am 79. I always got my magazine subscriptions from PCH. I have not heard of AFP. We never had TV and were avid readers. I liked the home and garden magazines as well as archaeology and history, and my sons liked science and space and Popular Mechanix type. PCH always had the best prices. I used this love of ours as an excuse to enter all those sweepstakes being as I was going to subscribe to these magazines anyway, and maybe someday Ed McMahon would show up at my door with a big check. I did not make these memories up. I have other memories of a different reality that are just as clear.
