I think I'm safe in stating that this SAJB has and is producing some of the finest female jazz musicians in the world at this time. There are so many that I've listened to over the years and they keep coming. This is so very impressive.

Me encanta ver de nuevo a gente como Irene Reig y Magalí Datzira tocando con la SAJB, hacía mucho desde la última vez. Y a Rita Payés después de ser mamá, volviendo al Jazz, que espero nunca abandone. Alba Armengou, como siempre, sensacional como vocalista y trompetista.

Great renditions. Still going strong. Well done. I had my guitar stolen from me in Barcelona one night whilst I slept on a bench upon the waterfront. I’d been busking through Europe and this was the final place I would ever do this. The theft altered my life completely. I began having to use food kitchens to eat and this brought my life into contact with environments and mobs who drugged and misdirected the future of my existence. I very much still love Barcelona and hope to one day revisit its iconic locations, perhaps even to hear some jazz. If I can ever plan such a complicated reimagining I very much remain hopeful of its making good on its promise. till then then…. God bless p.s. I somehow survived the journey and eventually made it back to Scotland some three years later. 😎

Joan please share your secret sauce. How you're creating these world class musicians at such a young age is miraculous. We see only the performances but I know the real work is practice sessions both individual and full band.

Another stunner from SAJB. The depth of talent is seemingly fathomless. Not only does the young lady (whats her name please) sing but also blows up a storm on the trumpet. The saxophonist & trombonist were also both simply great. Thanks Joan and SAJB for your music. Keep them coming.
