From what I hear, Bob Holly was all about shooting on younger wrestlers to "teach them a lesson." I think that's stupid. I understand "Oh, it happened a lot back in the day," but that doesn't excuse it then or now. If you talk to any of the older guys in pro wrestling most of them bring up being semi-destroyed by the coach or pro wrestling teacher that legitimately broke them into the business Holly might have went a bit hard but it didn't sound as bad as some of the stories I heard over the years
