@night OK, I will walk you through it... To break the foutth wall, you Ineract with people behind it... not talk to people on set about the wall. Breaking the 4th wall is done by a scripted actor candidly speaking to the viewer, usually under the guise of secrecy/ privacy, as if he has a rare ability to see the viewer throughly the camera. NOT to refer to the wall (the camers) itself. He SAW the 4th wall, he did NOT break it. He would have broken it if he asked US why we are watching him act. In other words, he cemented the wall by seeing it as a wall. Hope that clarifies it for you.

I applaud TNA for doing a camera hiding and recording backstage stuff between wrestlers. Makes it way more believable than just the wrestlers pretending they aren't there. We haven't really seen the hidden camera man trick since that segments in TNA. It really should be done more.

And Randy hallucinating his dad covered in blood but somehow even though it was all in Randys head we could see it as well. That whole segment could have been done in a much more realistic way. My favorite spots on wrestling are the ones where they make me forget that it's scripted.

There's one I'd like to include.. Chirs Jericho used to always see the Titantron after applying the Walls of Jericho to see if opponent is close to reaching the rope, and used to pull the opponent at the last second.. Always loved seeing it..

That's why I gotta hand it to old TNA, when it came to the backstage segments. I liked how they portrayed it as the camera people hiding getting a sudden exclusive not to be caught kinda deal. Made it feel a bit more authentic.

I always said that there should be a wrestler named Mark that points all of these out. Like he wins a match using a kendo stick and then says "Man, I'm glad the ring crew had to stop and practice their kendo before finishing the ring last night."- And at the end of each promo he could say "I'm not just a lucky Mark....I'm a Smart Mark" Just think of the merchandising sales with all the Smart Mark t-shirts being sold to the.....well......smart marks.
