Woohoo 🙌 You just listed all the things I love to eat Grass Fed Butter, avocado, whole egg, wild salmon, olives, (avoid snacking, olives are good for snacks though), macadamia nuts, pickles and pickle juice (great before a meal) mushrooms, cheese (good snack), coconut oil (it is 50 % MCT). Tamarillos are packed with vitamin A, C, & E, which is great for healthy, glowing skin, boosting your immunity and maintaining healthy eyesight. Interestingly, they also contain chlorogenic acid, which can help reduce blood sugar levels. I eat half a tamarillo which I fry in the same pan as an egg. They do take longer to cook. Do you have a video where you specifically talk about the main things we can ask the doctor to check for that are overlooked when it comes to insulin resistance and cholesterol? I sent my mom 3 of your videos b/c now the docs want to put her on cholesterol medication. Only use avo oil raw or at low temps. It oxidises if heated too much causing inflammation. (Smoke point is not the same as the point the oil oxidises)

On salmon. If it's orange colored it's not wild caught but farm raised. They feed it something to give it that color.

Does inflammation raise blood sugar? I'm sensitive to most foods due to candida & it seems like any plant foods cause me problems but I don't know if it's blood sugar, but it makes me feel like crazy and on edge like the fungi are taking over!!!! 👁👁

I'm not as concerned about blood sugar as I am about insulin levels. I've never checked my blood sugar because I've never been diabetic, but am aware that I need to keep my insulin levels down. Does insulin level automatically follow blood sugar in a 1:1 correlation?

No, but if blood sugar is high insulin will be high. Blood sugar can be “normal” but insulin can be elevated, but it all starts with frequent spikes.

Actually, you would need to eat 10 avocados a day to get the 3,500 mg of potassium you need and 8 to 9, to get your recommended amount of magnesium.

Fat is GOOD for reversing type 2 diabetes. You need to be consuming adequate fat. I have helped 100s of clients reverse type 2 and get off or reduce medication focusing their diet around foods like these 🩷

Hey! Hi! I don't snack much, but when I do, kalamata and green olives wuth the garlic sliver in them are my main "go-to" snacks, Sometimes a few forks of kimchi, a kosher dill pickle or a few tablespoons of organic plain Greek whole milk yogurt are other snacks. Anyway, I always eat the whole egg (omelette or scrambled). Finally, I've been getting into pickling my own red onions and jalapeno and serrano peppers recently. Any opinion on this? Take it easy.

shinestar8981 I take a Tbls spoon or 2 of liquid allulose And Allulose has been found to lower blood sugar So it's a win win I take it straight but you could put it in a cup of tea Herbal tea is delish and comes in many flavors, peach cherry, peppermint etc P.s It really helps the cravings

You can test your fasting blood sugar at home with a glucose monitor though 🙂

@@HealthCoachKait I find that to be more accurate. You can test at anytime of the day, at random, after certain foods to see your bodies reaction, first thing in the morning whenever your like. Just as long as you keep records of the time of day, what you had eaten and so on, you will see a pattern and can adjust your food and diet and exercise to suit you. It gives a much better reading than just an average over the last 3 Months.

Hi ! The oils and butters , the mushrooms,and not much of olives and pickls ard OK But the nuts and avocado are OUT ,they will kik you out of REAL KETOSIS , unless you eat 1-2-3 small nuts or 1 bite of avocado (if you can ) but if you are going to eat so little,their nutrients will practicly be zero,in which case,why to "feed" the need of their taste ??? Unless of coars if you are s super muscular person and can disappear some more blood glucose . Cheers !

Yes, but not in a good way. Alcohol is a toxin and when it’s in your system your bodies main goal is to get it out as fast as possible. So fat and carb metabolism get out on hold and the liver won’t release any glucose. Anything you eat while alcohol is in your system gets stored as fat.
