Leicester done my team Northampton a favour by sacking Adam Smith. We signed him up and he was so good for us. He ended up in the Football League Team of the Season.

yeah and is arguably the best goalkeeper in league 1. He is certainly championship quality and was one of the main reasons we were champions of league 2 last season and that we are still unbeaten in the league for 30 games.

So neither Ched Evans or Adam Johnson count for this list (regardless of Evans' conviction being re-examined) but Robbie Rodgers, who left Leeds by mutual consent, was sacked? Players are released all the time. They don't get chucked in prison too often though.
