@@MisterPickle. Yeah I think there's a detection bubble of about 350m... so if you're outside of that range and you see zombies around- you're exactly right... someone else closer to them than you are.

I didn't know you could sterilize either the bandana or sewing kit! I'd assumed it's simply last ditch effort stuff that would invariably lead to a blood infection. I must've assumed from earlier versions where I tried disinfecting those and it never worked so I carried on assuming you can't do it. Now I carry enough sterile bandages typically but knowing everything about the game means it can save your life eventually.

Rags also give me a couple more minutes in the early-life stage, against cold. I always try to fget them and do a face and a head wrap, until I find something better. I also gag myself if I get a cold and don't want to give away my position while coughing. (I like hardcore PvE servers where any second counts).

With the whole eating till white food thing I've always followed the rule of "don't feed the guy who kills you". I eat pretty much all the food I find when I find it. Also doesn't food last longer in your stomach when you're on white food? So like the time to go from yellow to red food is shorter than white to yellow? Just something I've heard. Very friendly video.

Did goes down faster when white. It's a balance. You want to eat anytime you hit yellow. Try to keep it white, but there's a balance to maintain.

Improvised foot wrappings are also QUIETER than most shoes and will allow you to sneak up closer to animals to hunt easier.

Good question, not always. Sure someone could have made a bunch of noise and disposed of them in a discreet location. Sometimes on a full server... Basically there is a max limit of spawned Zeds, and if it's hit that, sometimes you can find a town with no Zeds.

To this day I still don't get how gloves protect your hands from getting bloody. The gloves would just get bloody then you'd be back at square one. Somehow a rag covering half your hand means you're safe to eat after cutting up a dead chicken lol.
