Muenster cheese has a lot of Vitamin K2, also natto to help keep calcium in your bones and out of your arteries and joints. Sardines have omega 3 and trace minerals that farmers have emptied from their soil. Himalayan pink salt has trace minerals and no microplastics like regular sea salt. Tenderloin is just pricey AF in Europe at least and is the most pricey part of a cow traditionally. Also very lean so easy to cook to leather/uneatible - I Sous Vide my tenderloin for 2hr at 58-59C first then just sear it 60 sec on each side at high heat to keep it great. Edit: Ah oh shit, u meant PORK tenderloin, my bad, yeah that IS overlooked and cheap! ... I buy 3 for $15 (pre inflation at least), remove the silverskin, sous vide 2hrs at 60C with garlic and butter and sear fast and hard on 3 sides and serve with green beans or burnt broccoli. Delicious and so juicy when sous vide'd!

Hasnt more recent research shown that even more incomplete amino acid profiles are themselves not as large of a factor for protein synthesis as previously thought, since aside from getting those aminos elsewhere in your day to day diet (which you acknowledge in the video), your body has now been found to store aminos?

0946 The whole milk mentioned here probably comes from grainfed cows, was pasteurized, and then homogenized. The question is if they could get it grassfed, not ultrapasteurized, and not homogenized (or even 1 or 2 out of those three), would the results be different? Understand, in terms of pasteurization, there's regular pasteurization, ultra pasteurized, then vat pasteurized. I wonder if we went with vat pasteurized, would the result be different as well?

A lot of people come to this channel because they need to lose weight. The way to do that is not through a new health hack every day. We need to focus on a basic and disciplined plan every day. So animal foods are the best and digest completely on their own, no surprise there. Two things could be going on when you add veg protein there are carbs involved and you will involve the Randal cycle. Protean requires Bile to fully digest therefore fattier meat will probably require more bile to be produced making it score higher. Mixing protean, fat and carbs together may have some effect on digestion or even bile production? Meat is fully digested in the small intestine so fibre would likely hamper this by pushing it through to quickly. Those would be my thoughts.

Yeah was about to say that bit was missing in the video. Most plant people go pea protein now, as hemp taste like eating old ropes and soy has a bad rep for lacking aminos. Pea only lack one amino (low in methionine) and taste, well decently but is really dense - I tried it for a month and it got me very gassy so went back to whey. If she lives on a strict diet, look into supplementing methionine if needed, other than that, it should be a-okay.

"Soy protein meals stimulate less gastric acid secretion and gastrin release than beef meals" Abstract "Soy protein is a widely used, inexpensive, and nutritious source of dietary protein. In contrast to beef protein, the effects of soy protein on gastric acid secretion and serum gastrin concentration have not been evaluated. We compared the effects of meals containing the same amounts of either isolated soy or beef protein on acid secretion and serum gastrin concentration in normal humans. Acid secretion measured by in vivo intragastric titration was 30%-40% less with soy than beef protein (p less than 0.05), whether isolated soy protein alone was compared with a mixed beef meal containing carbohydrate and fat or whether soy or beef meals containing similar amounts of fat were compared. Average gastrin rises were 65%-75% less with soy than with beef (p less than 0.01). The explanation for less gastrin release with soy than with beef is unclear, but lower serum gastrin concentrations with soy probably accounted for reduced acid secretion. These results indicate that the source of dietary protein in a meal may be an important determinant of gastric acid secretion and gastrointestinal hormone release." What about plain high quality Greek yogurt or cottage cheese? I eat those daily and would love to know....

Good question, I start and end everyday with a serving of greek yogurt and have cottage cheese in the afternoon. I always wondered if I was overdoing the dairy.

How come fish is not high on the list? What is the mechanism that inhibits fish protein from being absorbed?

Because sardines have more Vitamin A1, B12, D, Folate, Phosphorus, Selenium, CoQ10, Omega 3 and Calcium than his list of foods. He might not know what those 9 nutrients are.

@StanDupp6371 10 ай бұрын
@@JasonBuckman Yes, Vitamin A1 is Retinol. Vitamin A2 is what is in carrots. The NIH is an accredited source of diet information and they can explain the difference and the absorption rate of each. There is also Vitamin K1 and K2. The person speaking in this video is an entertainer so please take that into consideration.

The same sponsor that sells single 1 ingredient ancestral foods that were not invented in the last 100 years and also told you how many times to blink your eye per minute. Some of the foods on that list are not single 1 ingredient ancestral foods so do not consume them.
