Meltzer is a hack. I hate the current Gen and the PG Gen before whatever this Gen is called. The stories are weak, the character development is nil. The technical ability of the majority is empty or easily seen scripts. Daniel’s is an older wrestler, but part of the PG and This Gen. And it took him that long to get that useless “Guy who doesn’t rate based in skill, but whoever goes with his mood when he forgets his meds.”

It's strange to think, because Hogan has looked 50-something forever, he wasn't merely just 42 when the NWO was formed but he was still in his 40s when he came _back_ to WWE in 2002. When he faced The Rock at WM18, Hulk was about 9 months younger than Rock is today.

The ONLY reason I personally wouldn't be able to give that one match 5* is that Angle flat fucking missed one kick out and nearly missed two others. Honestly, I can't think of many critiques for Angle outside of that. He missed kick outs quite a few times.

How about that: Most wins at Wrestlemania without losing a match currently belong to RVD - he is 4-0 and I'm pretty sure no one else is 5-0 or more right now. Compare that to Taker's 21-0 from 2013-2014 and you really understand how big The Streak was

Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels in a half hour epic at WM25 didn't get 5 Stars, but Chuck Taylor and Trent vs Ortiz and Santana in a 13 Minute Parking Lot Brawl on an episode of Dynamite did. That tells you all you need to know about Meltzer's rating system.

I got one: Ricky Steamboat used to wrestle under his real name of "Richard Blood". When he left that territory, Tito Santana went there and wrestled as Richard Blood. In both their long successful careers, neither ever turned heel.
