@@sliceofbread965 The promo wasn’t scripted, but Turner standards and practices had told WCW the character was not going to be allowed on TV, so Russo had Dustin do a worked shoot rejection of the gimmick, but Dustin went further than he was asked to.

And the video is about wrestlers telling us they were pissed, Styles vs Lawler was supposed to be a work, and Styles quitting RAW was supposed to be an angle, but he was legit pissed, he did a shoot promo instead of the worked one, and he did asked WWE for his release later that night . As for Michaels vs Hogan, they were supposed to have 2 matches, Hogan wining the first and Michaels winning the second, but used his powers to change the plans, stating that he was in such a bad shape that he would be unable to wrestle 2 matches . The plans were changed to just 1 match, and Hogan would win, because it's Hulk Hogan . Michael's ego was as big as Hogan, thinking Hulk used his powers to his advantage like he did 1 000s times before, was legit pissed and showed it during the match by overselling everything, making it a match that nobody would ever forget

@@chriscothron3606, his storylines were asinine. He is a former world champ due to this. VM and Shane at least worked out and trained. When that steroid trial occurred, many said at the time that VM was as large as Hogan in reality. The two worst occurrences in WCW were Russo and Hervey winning the world titles. That was the end of WCW. McMahon had enough sense to get rid of him before he went too far in the F. I have yet to hear VM give him credit for anything. Oh yeah, and how did pushing the younger talent work out for WCW? Booker T and Jarrett are the two who really benefitted. He failed to build around Goldberg and that helped speed the company's demise.

Because it was actually planned. The character was canceled after getting complaints, and so Russo had him go out there and "shoot" on it as way to spin it as Dustin refused to do it and not because it was a horrible gimmick, but he took just a bit too far. Not exactly the same as the other on the list since it was technically planned.
