4. Quite frankly, screw Oliver with this one. Roy is the guy that looses an arm and a daughter after finally graduating to the A-league, sending him spiralling down the rabbit-hole of drug abuse and vengeance against anyone on his shitlist. Oliver pisses off to go live in the woods feeling sorry for himself, Roy ends up with Cheshire and Deathstroke... the same people who murdered the Atom, Ryan Choi. But yes, Oliver had it though...

The obsidian Age was fantastic! Im glad it was at number one, no one ever talks about it.
@abrahamalfaro79082 жыл бұрын
You skipped over the worst part of the Obsidian Age storyline (the part every writer has ignored since): the JLA were quasi-conscious but trapped in Green Lantern's ring for 3,000 years. That means for every one of them, they aren't X years old. They are X+3000 years old.

This is definitely a good list, and while there are any number of other examples, I'd like to add The New 52: Futures End, because the intro and the glimpse into the dark future and fate of the Justice League caused by Brother Eye still gives me chills.

How was Roy a “oh yeah and it effected Roy too as it was his daughter” I’d say it was worse for Roy. Losing your granddaughter is terrible but losing your daughter is worse. Losing his arm as well means he can’t be red arrow as well

He lost it in Young Justice and got a cybernetic one. That's all I will say, watch the show yourself if you wanna know more. (only saw 2 seasons, not the new one.....And holy shit, season 4 is now airing, I had no idea!)
@qwan33562 жыл бұрын
@@lidge1994 that was based off this comic. LOL. What happened to Roy after losing the arm was what made Young Justice do it. He becomes Arsenal and lets say it got a LOT worse for Roy.
@lidge19942 жыл бұрын
@@qwan3356 So YJ comic is based off the show and the show is based off several different comics' pertaining to the Justice League and Titans? Or is the YJ comic the inspiration for the show?
@qwan33562 жыл бұрын
@@lidge1994 The show is DEFINTELY pulled for comics previously. the story now is different with Halo and Forger etc. But Cry for Justice where Roy loses his arm was back in 2009. Young Justice used that for Roy's part. Not the same way it happen that would be way too dark for a "show" but definitely rooted form there. To be really honest, Comics and shows have a give and take kind of relationship. both pull what works from each. you will see that a lot.

How can you have being under darkseids spell but not the dc “zombie” (dc version is anti life equation techno organic virus in which technically not dead and so meets requirements) which darkseid created but was taken over himself by and almost everyone else? I was expected that next but if not that really should replace the darksied one.

I'd have to throw, "Being Superman" in the mix. Hear me out. The thing is that for Superman, EVERYBODY has to compare themselves to him, or to prove they're better, or ask themselves what he'd do, or expect him to solve their problems, or blame him for their problems, love him, hate him, etc. etc. etc. No other hero/heroine has the level of comparisons made (like ever single Flash feeling the need to race him) and no other hero more often becomes the catalyst for good/evil winning, I.E. JLA Adventures: Trapped in TIme/Injustice. The poor guy has to deal with all of this just for being what he is. It's a burden that he has to deal with every day of his life and then some. I'd say that's a pretty harsh thing to deal with.

Two things that don't exist in the DC universe: permanent death and PTSD.
@tygrkhat40872 жыл бұрын
It does, but selectively. John Stewart is still traumatized by his accidental destruction of a world; Batman and the Punisher only exist because of PTSD.

Ok I think I know why I hate Flashpoint. It makes no goddamn batsense! Like I always thought Barry was younger than batman. By at least a good few years. Like how does the only thing Barry changes actually affect the events around Flashpoint. This is something many time travel stories fall into. They say the 1 thing that changed changed everything but they never explain how. Like how did Joe chill end up killing Bruce instead. How did it cause a war between wonder woman and aquamarine? The how and why are never explained.

Man cry for justice was so good. I mean it was awful but I loved the idea that green arrow decides not to kill almost all the time. Which isnt the same as doesnt kill. Hes a guy, he isnt some paragon of justice or cold blooded anti hero. No hes a dude and if you push him hard enought you can take the short 6 foot drop. He grapples with that question

Alright Batman's contingency plans are for if the Justice league ever turn evil, succumb to mind control, or otherwise threaten the planet right? Wrong! Superman's contingency plan proves that they are for when they are a threat to Batman. Batman's plan for Superman does not work if he gets mindcontroled or turns evil, and in fact it makes him a bigger threat to the planet. Batman's plan for Superman supercharges Superman and only restrains him because of Superman's morality. It only works because Superman is afraid he'll hurt people. Something that wouldn't be a factor if he did become a threat to the planet. This plan is to stop Superman, the paragon of good, on a normal paragon of good day. This plan is so Batman can get Superman out of his way, therefore the rest of the plans are for Batman to get the other members of the League out of his way. Batman's own contingency plan is a contingency plan for if the League ever found out about the other ones. SCREW THIS VERSION OF BATMAN!
