We all know that long tone helps but some may think it's a bit boring. that's why I decide this 2-octave long tone exercise in energetic funk style (Tempo 135) and hope it's more enjoyable when practicing long tone
In this exercise, we are playing root note of all the dominant 7th
Intonation-wise, if you blend in well with another saxophone in unison and/or harmonically blend nicely with the rhythmic section, you are pretty close to in-tune. Double check with a tuner if needed.
