I have now used this each day for a week now, and have really noticed a difference in my sound. Notes seem to play easier, less mistakes and clearer/nicer sound. I like the structure of playing all the notes in the 2 octaves in 10 minutes. I also use a tuner app at the same time to see how accurate I am pitching each note, trying to use ear more than eye (but actually both). I have actually been playing for 22 years, at an intermediate level and this is the first exercise where I can honestly say it makes a noticeable difference in a short period. Going to continue. I don't know how I've been going out doing paid gigs and have completely been neglecting long tone exercises. Today I attempted to play start back with some fundamentals. Needless to say it's all good when I'm playing fast but this exercise brought me back to middle school and high school. Have to make this a habit to do everytime I practice. It ain't the funnest thing to play but it's whats necessary and I shouldn't have been neglecting this knowing damn well Im supposed to start every practice this way regardless of my skill level. smh
