@@boiz9552 Old school expansions were a good thing. They'd come out 6-8 months or even a year after the game was proven successful & actually add a ton of gameplay. The only modern example I can think of are the expansions for The Witcher 3, hours of extra story, new environments & dialogue etc. DLC's are like the delinquent step child of expansions lol

Ooh I remember that game, it was basically a zombie game but with even less logic and with zero fucks given. I bet the producers lived on a strict marijuana and caffeine only diet while making that game

that game was fun af, goofy gameplay and narratives fun weapons unique movement system. like you had to jump in a leech pool to gather leeches in which point on your way back you start tripping, everything turns to lava and there’s skeletons and a talking company logo balloon taunts you the whole way. Also the cadets or whatever’s captain who doesn’t have legs so you carry him like a backpack

That is true. Though the flood in a sense can do the same in a sense if the technology is controlled by a sentient AI program (like Cortana in the halo series) and as well as Mendicant Bias (from the original Halo Flood lore) by twisting and convincing the AI programming to side with it in a way thus infecting it with the logic plague, how ever it is only really able to be done via a grave mind or Key mind with the flood due to the sentience it would have as well as the knowledge. And a protogravemind wouldnt really be capable to do so due to it still developing it's own sentience.

@bean boy that plague he got fairly right, it is an actual plague but it is similar to the black plague by utilizing rats primarily, and with how it spreads originally in the game. Though I am not sure if it uses the exact same way or if it is something else that lets it spread. As for the plague rats they are a more aggressive species of rats especially when they get into swarms. I still have yet to fully look into the lore and how it spreads when it comes to the infected individuals itself. Personally it might be something that is a high risk in spreading on contact but I will be sure to look at the wiki and check to see if it is true or if there is something else that causes it to spread as well.

In addition there was no "flood counter" of the flood. It was originally "wiped out" by the activation of the halo array by the forerunners. How ever the flood itself survived via the research stations made by the forerunners that had contained specimens in hopes that the races later on could hopefully use their research and technology to develope the said cure

As well as any form of infection forms, combat forms, and infected biomass requiring immediate removal and incineration to prevent any infection in any way. As well as keeping in mind that combat forms if needed can cause infection as well as in infection forms.
