Have you ever queued up for the hogwarts express and do you think it's worth the wait?

Hi, yes and yes 😂😂 depending on how long the wait is and how big of a Harry Potter fan you are of course . Also it's a different experience each way (its different going to and from Universal Studios), so it's kind of two attractions in one which is pretty cool. Personally I wouldn't wait more than 30 minutes but then again I've done it many times soooo.....

@@FloridaTipsForBrits thankyou. Think we will give it a try then. (if the queue allows us!) Here's our predicament. I have an 11, 7 and 4 year old. 11 is a giant, but has very bad anxiety and will try and convince herself she's cool with rides until we get to the front of the queue. 7 has no fear, she's high energy and wants to do everything, but her height restricts her. And 4 is autistic so we often try and do things but then have to leave or sit it out because it's too much for her. She loves trains and animals so hoping to find a good mix for everyone. It's just such a minefield trying to figure it all out. Universal not so much but Disney with genie+ and LL and ILL and having to get on at 7am to book it when you don't even know if it's right for your kids is making my head a bit a crazy to be honest.

Yeah, the entire Genie Plus situation can be a bit stressful but remember you don't have to use it, although it can be useful especially at Magic Kingdom & Hollywood Studios (IMHO) but honestly I tend not to use it. Regarding the children, the rider swap options at both Disney and Universal may come in handy, they are usually pretty good at accommodating people. Also Have you looked into the DAS pass (for Disney world) for your 4 year old? This is a pass that allows you to "check in" and get a return time (bit like a virtual que really) for many of the attractions at WDW which means no standing in long lines.

@@FloridaTipsForBrits someone I knew mentioned they had heard about that and told me a few weeks ago. However all the links on the disneyworld page it says to click on for more info just loops you back to the homepage. Am I right in thinking you wait for however long the standby lane is. Then go back once that time has passed and join the genie +/lightning lane to queue there?

@@joannesilver3837 Yes that’s pretty much how it works. I’m not sure what the deal is with the website?? I know if do apply, you have to have a brief consultation with a Disney cast member over the phone or FaceTime/zoom and then they approve/deny the DAS pass. Also worth noting is that I think you are only able to apply once you are 30days or less away from you visit.
