Love these videos - have watched nearly all of them now! Ah Disney…can’t wait to be back in a few months! Staying near Disney Springs at the Wyndham and can’t wait. It’ll always be Downtown Disney to me. It was DTD on my first trip in the late 90s and it’ll always be that haha. I still miss DisneyQuest! Lol

Glad you like the videos, I still call 'Springs Downtown Disney all the time too - I first went to Orlando in '93 (I was 12, just) and those old habits die hard 🤣

I never understood this “outstanding service” they might tell you something they recommend (but that is their taste) other than that they drop off a few plates bottles or glasses to your table, they are not getting 25% from an average $160 for a family of four …the restaurant is making huge mark ups if they aren’t paying you enough….get a new job.

Hi, I just have a quick question about parking. If I pay to park in the magic kingdom then leave and go to my off site hotel for a break and then head to Epcot in the evening, do I have to pay for parking twice? Many thanks.
@FloridaTipsForBritsАй бұрын
Hi, thanks for your question 😀 Once you have paid to park at your first destination your parking is valid for any of the other Disney parks that day. So no, you do not need to pay more than once per day. I hope this helps and thanks for watching.

This is just a question as i haven't flown long-haul much...i fly BA and i know the food and drink is complimentary when they bring it round...but if you want something in between if you're thirsty or hungry for example...is there the option to buy something or does it still count as complimentary....on my last flight to Florida i didn't see anyone to press the buzzer and order anything?? x If anyone knows thank you x
@FloridaTipsForBritsАй бұрын
Hi, I can't speak to BA's in flight service (I've actually never flown with them) but I know with Virgin you can certainly request additional complimentary drinks in between meal services no matter which cabin you're traveling in. The only cabin I've ever been able to order additional (complimentary) food/snacks in is their "Upper Class" cabin, I believe you can purchase snacks (between meal services) on the flight in other cabins however. I could be wrong but I imagine BA to be similar.

THANK YOU ....I was wondering about the ESTA ...i travelled last January (2024) ...and am going back in September...i thought ESTA was just one year...?? i will recheck mine but say if you only like 2 months left on it will it still be OK?? x
@FloridaTipsForBritsАй бұрын
Hi glad the ESTA "how to" video helped you 😀For a little clarity, the ESTA lasts for "up to" 2 years or until your passport expires whatever comes first. So if you're on the same passport as when you applied in 2023 you should be good to go. ✈

Hi @nevillelake1403, thanks for you for your comment, we’re glad to have you on the channel! I use 2 cameras (mainly)in these vlogs, the Sony ZV-E1 with the 14mm F1.8 GMaster lens and the DJI Osmo Action 4 action camera depending on the situation. Most “vlogging” was using the Sony. Thanks again for watching 😃

If you take the monorail to Epcot you do not have to clear security again as you have been checked already before getting into MK. The only downside when Park hopping from MK is that you have to transfer at the TTC. In no scenario, would it take you a full hour
@FloridaTipsForBritsАй бұрын
Hi, thanks for your comment 😃 You are correct about the no longer having to clear security twice - I Misspoke in the video - this used to be the case but it is no more. Regarding the 1 hour comment, I was including the time it would take to walk from “the back” ie Fantasyland to the exit, then waiting for a monorail back to the TTC, then the ride back to the TTC itself, then transferring to the Epcot monorail, then the trip to Epcot and then the time taken to tap in to the park. The walk out of the park is around 15minutes, the monorail back to the TTC is listed as under 10 minutes (let’s say 7minutes) the monorail to EPCOT is listed as 10-20 minutes (by Disney) so let’s call it 15 minutes. This means that assuming you have 0 wait time for the monorail you are looking at 37 minutes “travel”time. Then depending on how long you have to wait in line for a monorail (you might not get on the first one that comes along if it’s busy) and hold ups that often occur on the monorail line such as waiting in holding patterns etc and of course any standing in line to tap back in at EPCOT, it really can take (around) an hour. Many times it’s quicker obviously, but as I say in the video it’s still going to be a 30 or 40 minute trip all things considered. Thanks again for taking the time to comment.

Hi @adistuffRBX, thanks for your comment. I have flown with Virgin Atlantic exclusively for about the last 25 years so I’d have to say Virgin Atlantic. I’m a member of their flying club so it makes sense to stick with them for air miles etc plus I’ve found them to be very reliable with friendly staff. Thanks for watching 😃
