Turkey breast (small) 1/2 bag of stuffing +all your add ins 8rolls (leftovers) premade 4 potatoes for mashing Gravy - as much as you like 1 can of cranberry or 1/2 bag if homemade Veggies of your choice portioned to your party size with enough for leftovers PIE- as many kinds as you want because it’s 2020 🤣 Happy thanksgiving Cut most recipes in half, if you can’t remember that most freeze beautifully and you’re ahead come Christmas/holiday season

@@heathermontz7328 We do the Cornish Hens or Pork Tenderloins. We do 2 fresh sides per day Thurs-Sun. Keeps it festive & we don't overdo it. *And* I'm not on my feet cooking for half the day. 👏😊♥️🦃

#sisterhood My favorite side is always the stuffing. My grandmother told us it was a secret recipe for years but we eventually found out it was just the one on the back of the bag with extra butter 🤷♀️

My favorite Thanksgiving side has always been stuffing, but since I started making sweet potato casserole instead of candied sweet potatoes, I think that sweet potatoes are almost a tie with stuffing for my favorite Thanksgiving side dish!

I made the stuffing TWICE. One for my sons friends- giving and heard they loved it. And I made it again tonight for my family’s Thanksgiving meal. It was a huge hit. So delicious. I also made the instant pot mashed potatoes. So much easier and SO GOOD! Thank you Six Sisters Stuff!

#Sisterhood My favorite thing to do is eat the turkey and stuffing with a big glob of the canned cranberry jellied stuff on each bite, I know it isn't legit but it's just so good to me. I will definitely be doing your jello fruit salad, it looks so good.

We always have "real" cranberry sauce and "fake" cranberry sauce at the table. Half the family likes the canned jellied sauce and half likes my homemade cranberry sauce. It's a big joke in the family. 😆

As always great video. I live in the south and Mac and cheese is a must. Pecan pie and sweet potato pie are always my choices, and growing up we had congelled salad. I always enjoy hearing what others eat for there holidays.

My favorite Thanksgiving side dish is corn casserole (that I've modified over the years. :) ). I think the original came from the Whistle Stop cookbook, or at least that's where I first came across it. So good! #sisterhood

We usually have the normal potatoes beans, carrots turkey dressing, etc, but this year I'm going to throw in some brussel sprouts. Half of the family won't eat them, but I love them

Our family being Italian we had all the traditional food, turkey and ham and the expected vegetables. But we always had Italian food too, lasagna, baked shells, eggplant and ofcourse garlic bread. I loved the sweet potato recipe the best i may try that this year!

#sisterhood A traditional Thanksgiving side-dish in our family is called ‘Raspberry Ribbon Salad’. It’s really a raspberry jello salad that is layered in a clear dish. The layers are; a Cream Cheese mixture, Raspberry Jello, Raspberries, real Whipped Cream, Raspberry Jello, Raspberries & ending with a layer of real Whipped Cream. Definitely Luscious!

Well I never thought of preparing the dressing in the slow cooker. Thanks for the suggestion. The dressing turned out delicious and saved oven space. I also prepared the mashed potatoes in the IP & success. I'm still tired though.

Our Thanksgiving this year is for only 4 ppl, but any of the dishes can be for a small family. Remember you can freeze things if needed ppl. I love ALL of the recipes! I have made almost all of them before. I LOVE the pretzel jello cake, and the whipped jello with cottage cheese. I live in Colorado, so those are recipes I grew up eating. The brussel sprouts with cheese/bacon was a new one. I definitely want to try it though. Yum. Thanks for sharing!!

#sisterhood My favorite side dish for Thanksgiving is a “Cranberry Compote” that I make. It has cranberries, oranges, apples and nuts in it. I like it better than traditional cranberry sauce. Leftovers are great on toast or rolls as a spread too!

Sisterhood...we make a carrot soufflé every year! Easy to mix up with butter and sugar and eggs and a few other ingredients blend in blender and as it cooks it rises and sinks a bit as it cools. So yummy and pretty on the plate😉

#Sisterhood My favorite side dish is what we call dressing. I’m in MS - that’s what we call stuffing! It’s a little different from yours. We start out with home made cornbread as the base and no apples for one thing. Nothing we cook is remotely healthy here but it’s SO good! 😆

@@elissajones5154 I’m not sure the exact measurements off the top of my head. But this is what I remember: make non sweet cornbread ahead of time (no jiffy mix) and crumble it. You need boiled eggs mashed with a fork. Cream of chicken, cream of celery, chopped cooked celery & onion, Turkey broth, poultry seasoning, salt & pepper,. You mix all of of time together with one raw egg to bind it before baking. Some people will add Turkey meat. I haven’t made it in years so I don’t know the exact measurements but I’m sure Pinterest has it somewhere.

@@heathermontz7328 Preach, Sista! My mother uses a big old fat hen to make her dressing because the broth is so good and rich. She grows her own sage, too. This is the only dish that is a MUST for us all - everything else is negotiable but it's not a holiday without her dressing.

For my mashed potatos I use mayo instead of sour cream and evaporated milk instead of regular whole milk. For years I used whole milk and loved it and one day all I had at home was evaporated milk and my family loves their potatos creamy so I tried the evaporated milk and it was sooooo good. I haven't looked back to regular milk since that day for my mashed potatos. You can also use heavy cream which is also good but the evaporated milk is where it is at.

Nobody ever made macaroni and cheese for me on Thanksgiving when I was growing up. There were things that I liked and things that I didn't like and I ate what I liked and plenty of dessert. When we went out to eat I got a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and 8th off the adults plates. It really is a southern thing and to this day I don't think in Maine many people make macaroni and cheese for Thanksgiving. You have made me want to make some tomorrow for the weekend!

#sisterhood one of our favorite side dishes on thanksgiving is a large Italian salad. Seems a bit weird, but it’s a throwback to our roots on my moms side. We also love a different kind of raspberry jello salad, green bean casserole, rolls, sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, and stuffing. We cook a wet version and a dry version. Can’t get enough of the dry stuffing!

We live in Massachusetts and we have never had it as a side. I don’t know anyone that does personally for thanksgiving. Most family and friends do the turnip, butternut squash, candied yams, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, and the bird. Some do green bean casserole too.

I choose not to do social media either so it puts me out too. My blind cousin is an amazing cook, she recommended that I get an insta-pot. I love the videos and recipes on your channel. I love my new (refurbished) insta-pot. Since it was refurbished for half the price of new no instructions came with it at all. So I found you guys and love learning from you.

My family tradition would be family get together, eat my mom’s famous pumpkin pie recipe. With each bite, we tell something we are thankful for. Yum. I will try the pretzel raspberry with cream cheese, I will substitute gluten free pretzels.

Our tradition is Strawberry pretzel salad same concept only using strawberry jello and frozen or real strawberries truly addictive!

#sisterhood my favorite thanksgiving side dish is definitely the stuffing! My pop pop made it and taught me how to make it. Since he’s passed I always make it each year. It’s nostalgic for me, plus I love bread!

#sisterhood with things being so different this year we have decided to cut down our cooking to just a few favorites. My tastebuds have become more “adult like” in all my years so my 2 must haves for myself and my family is green bean casserole and sweet potato casserole (my son loves it because it’s sweet!). This year we are only making your honey baked ham, we usually have Turkey and Ham. But we donated our large Turkey to a needy family in our community to spread holiday cheer so I’ll be cooking for that family and a simple dinner for my small family. God Bless you all

For my family, the green bean casserole & mashed potatoes is always a staple for Thanksgiving. For myself, I get the sweet potato casserole lol. No one else likes it.... soooooo...... yummmmm is all mine lol

#sisterhood my favorite tradition is to spend time with our friends at their place (they cook the whole dinner) this year Covid19 has made it impossible to follow this tradition so I will be making the whole dinner myself 😢. #Sisterhood My favorite side is putting sausage in the stuffing. I brown a pound of breakfast sausage and I actually use turkey breakfast sausage. Once browned and drained, i add this to my stuffing and bake in the oven. It just adds so much flavor.

#sisterhood My favourite Thanksgiving dish is potato salad the way my mom used to make it when she was alive. I live in the UK now but I still celebrate Thanksgiving with my lovely English husband who is happy to celebrate my tradition with me.
