I used to bring a small collection of non wca puzzles for the siblings & parents of the cubers. I learned early on that speedsters won't want distractions before the heats. Afterwards, sure, bring it on, lets see your mind crank around a squan2 or the giga's!

@@BrinaSun it depends on the context and delivery. abject disbelief like "omg noob" isn't constructive. consider: the solve is broken down during a solve in a series of meaningful steps. without the break-down in an appropriate manner, the message is confused and lost. "have you SEEN an M Slice before?!" is the same as "bro do you even cube"

i thought it was weird but "ok fine" when my judge was ignoring me and casually doing fingertricks and slapping the cube down while i was doing my solve... later i learned "yeah that shouldn't happen" SO threw me off! hey judges: don't DO that! I never did! (some people also hate when you compliment their solve, my bad?)
