Love the videos, but good luck at getting the actual picture of the light tower at that hour. The rangers at the park are ******(s). I guess they are doing their job, but they close the park at sunset and will follow you out. And people think photography is easy. Just a FYI. I love PlanIt Pro. Cheers.

Thanks again for covering the plans. I'm still not a fan of the autosave feature. Are people just too lazy to save plans/tasks when they need to?

The reason for auto-save is what I mentioned earlier in the video so that when you exit the app, the state will be kept. Also when the app crashes (happens sometimes), the state will be also be kept. It happened to me a few time that I forgot to save when the app crashes and I lost the data. The other reason is when I open a plan file from email or messenger, it will prompt in Planit to save the current plan but people often ignore that prompt then lost the plan (and markers because in the old design, markers are part of the plan). There are too many problems with the old design so I had to change it.

Where are markers saved ? under plans or under task ? if I erase a plan or a task will my markers delete as well ?

Now the markers are all global markers, which means they are independent from the plans. Deleting a plan or task will have no impact at all to the markers.

What about this - instead of calling the top-level "Plans," let's call them "Plan Folders." Then you can rename the "Tasks of the Plans" back into just "Plans." It seems like the only function of the "Plans" now is a place to store the tasks of the plans. So let's use regular computer terminology and call it a folder. I've just been using Plans as the location to save plans. And ignoring the tasks. What am I missing? I feel like I am still not getting it???!!

Folder is also too technical. To be frank, it is not really a folder as folder doesn't save the state. In the current design, both plan and task can save the states. It is just plan auto-save the state and task manual-save the state. You should start to use the task. I have been using this new design myself and I liked it.
