Graeme Bell with all due to respect ✊ i see where your coming from but I think that that the indigenous and tribal areas that did this so that the dogs can have a better keen sense of smell for hunting. It still bad though and should never be done, but that is what they PROBably needed to do to have a more better or successful hunting experience.

Fun fact: the same gene combination causes dreads (cording is the proper term, actually) in both dogs and humans. It’s a combination of genes for a wiry hair texture, curly shape, and long length that creates cords. Other breeds that can be corded are the Komondor, the Puli, and the Poodle.

@crymsonz6317

The ears are to prevent infection, and the tail was cut to prevent vermin from biting at it which would cause infection. Today people dock tails for traditional or cosmetic purposes. And neither of these causes discomfort to the dog!

Then we got Walter, a black lab who left my daughter devastated when he passes. She still mourns him now almost ten years later. Then my bf’s sister’s dachshunds, Sammy & Bella came to stay for a few years. Sammy passed on, but Belly is now a fat little sausage living with my ex. My daughter and I pop over sometimes to see her. Dogs should be a part of everyone’s life at some point. I live in an apartment now, but I’m allergic to cats.

I had a catahoula some years back. It was an AMAZING dog. It had great personality, was easy to train, loved people, and even had a sense of humor. If you want a smaller dog, and want one that is intelligent and a good companion, you can't do better than one of these amazing animals.

Hello, well in fact i didn't really like dogs at all, but when i served in the Syrian military "against my will of course " there was a female dog i don't know what its kind but back then every day i had a guarding shifts 8 hours a day 4 in the morning and 4 in the night, anyway in every shift she didn't leave me even when the temperature was -14 celsius she stayed with and we were freezing literally so i tried to put it in the room but she refused to, and stayed with me so i looked for some wood and i made fire inside the guarding room and i let it come inside, but when she refused to go into the room and stayed with me then i started to like dogs, oh how i miss you lousy i hope you're allright and God bless you.

If someone asked me what the most dangerous dogs were I’d say: “the ones that are abused and neglected....but even then they could still be the sweetest things”. I would never say pitbull. breed discrimination needs to stop. It’s how they were bred and the conditions they live in that make aggressive dogs....NEVER the breed 😤 I have seen aggressive Labradors. And I grew up with an aggressive weiner dog to strangers. Stop blaming the dogs for bad owners. Pit bulls aren’t dangerous people are....😔

Beauty In Every Daye Breed can most definitely affect temperament and personality. Pit bulls are very strong, and when rubbed the wrong way, are in fact VERY dangerous. I’m sure yours was a very sweet loving pup. Most are, but pit bulls are responsible for 66% of fatal mauling of people. That’s not to say the breed IS more prone to be aggressive, they are just so strong that if their temperament is bad, or their owners are bad, they are most definitely dangerous.

My cousin has a Tibetan Mastiff and he's very large, soft, and looks quite like the first one brought up. I can tell you that if you raise them well, they can be great companions. Max (my cousin's dog) is great around children, despite his size, and puts up with me and my friends being annoying. He also loves other dogs. So if you get lucky enough to get one, and you raise it right, you got yourself a best friend. That goes for any dog of course, I had multiple pitties (pit bulls) and they all were very nice, protective, and loving. They had great behaviors without having full training. They only get aggressive when raised poorly.

@@ebncrafting6202 That is total BS what you are talking there. "cm" is the SI symbol for centimeters. It is international and OFFICIALLY what is used in science everywhere. You are either lying or you don't know what you are talking about. Tell us which country uses sm instead of cm. Same goes for SirenRoyal! Sentimeter is not a different language because "centi" is from the Latin word "centum" for hundred. Senti is therefore BS because centimeter is not a word you translate into another language and give then another symbol.

@@malab12 w.e so ur saying a hunting dog will always hunt no matter what well come here ill show u some hunting dogs that won't hunt even a rabbit coz THEY TRAINED IT NOT TO DO SO so i stick to what ive said because if it is aggressive then its down to the owner to control that dog or face the punishment by law so no matter how u look at it u can train a dog to be none aggressive/ none hunting dog or any other temperament

Carl Taylor u can think what u think but what have u done to learn about this breed ??? google searches ? wikipedia ?? watch dumb cute pit mommie compilations ?? i been studying this breed for years and have learned off of real dogman feom the past and real knowledgeable well reputable books with literature to prove the claims. i also know a few who breed the real american pitbull terrier and have created grand champion apbt. the american pitbull terrier which like i said is a rare breed now a days due to the dumbasses like the one who made this video keep on mislabeling and saying stupid shit that isnt even true. if u wanna see a real pitbull and not those big blue fake mutts u see everywhere being called pitbulls then go and search: The real american pitbull terrier gamedog. theres no such thing as “types of pitbulls” like these people say the name pitbull is a short name for the pure bred breed american pitbull terrier and is a highly aggressive breed but only wit other animals and dogs some people were able to have their pitbull to get alone wit a cat or a dog but most of the time it doesn’t happen. This breed has a strong instinct of fighting cuz if u learned of the breeds past u would understand why. they were always bred to fight theyre the #1 gamedogs and have always been theyre amazing with people especially kids but when they see another dog its like a trigger button cuz of the high prey drive

Pit bulls have never been called 'nanny dogs'. That shit was made up by pit bull defenders. I challenge you to find one SINGLE reference ANYWHERE in history to 'nanny dogs'. You won't. Pit bulls were bred to fight bears and bulls in fighting pits - they were not kept as pets. Now stop spreading nonsense. doglawreporter.blogspot.com/2012/06/sordid-history-of-pit-bull-fighting-in.html

@Shukin AndjivinGoogle "nanny dogs" and educate yourself. These dogs are wonderful companion animals. RSPCA Chief Vet Mark Evans states they are victims of terrible press not of their own making and people who think they have problems are looking at the wrong end of the dog lead.
