A friend of mine was ran over and killed by his girlfriend. Some people immediately started accusing him of being abusive and saying she was fighting back, instead of blaming her. It was disgusting honestly

Wtf. I am so sorry that happened to your friend. No matter what was going on, no one should be assuming that and saying that shit. I can't believe people say shit like that!? I was abused by my ex and yeah, alot of people hate him and know what he's like, but I'm not going to run him over or wish him dead. That's disgusting and criminal. Tbh, committing murder is worse.

She was thankfully arrested for murder, hasn't been tried yet tho. But ya I live in a backwards town and its either abuse or drugs that people blame. It was absolutely disgusting that people blamed the victim because he must have been an abusive man, instead of thinking the women could just be crazy.

That's horrific. I"m so sorry. Gender doesn't define mental illness. Isn't it ironic that the same people crying about how awful men are , are the same ones who say gender doesn't exist. Would be hysterical if it wasn't running wild.

it's a double standard you often see unfortunately. if a man does something to a woman he's called a psychopath, and rightfully so but if a woman does it to a man the question is always," what did he do to provoke it? ,he must have been abusing her or something and she's acted out of anger? let's feel sorry for her".

Some relationships or situations affect people differently.Plus they're are varying degree's if abusive relationships.Just because your mother is fine doesn't mean someone who goes through the same thing won't come out fine. I.E someone is raped, they break down shut themselves off or kill themselves, but someone also is raped maybe it's even more traumatic. But they get themselves up in the morning and are fine and doesn't let it affect them. Or you have some who was also raped and just conceals it so they don't feel like a burden or to not drag people down. They're multi varieties of your mother's case, so don't expect or want others to react the way your mother does.

I'm a female trucker, the guys I work with treat me no differently to how they treat each other , however when I've come across the odd idiot those men I call my family are the first ones to come to my defense and I love them so much for that. I have 3 teenage daughters and they've been brought up to treat people based on their actions, give everyone a chance no matter what dangles or doesn't between their legs. There's far too much blaming all men for a very small minority of idiots but there's also equally the same amount of Karen's out their spewing their toxic bullshit and getting away with it. Let's not judge people right off the bat and give everyone a chance, if they prove to be toxic cut them out. Unfortunately we live in a word where s.a does happen and it's bloody awful , no woman should fear walking home but it seems like we forget those men who also experience s.a .... Let's all just not be dickheads yeah . xx

Its the same with people believing men and women are created equally, no they aren't. I'm 5ft11 and I'd say I'm pretty strong for a female but I'm also very aware that the guys who do my job have a massive advantage of me because they are men and men's physiology is different, I've got no problem at all asking any of the guys to help me out if I can't do something and I need guidance and those men have no issue helping me out. I just think we need to treat each other better and for those few people who do choose to carry out violent attacks, be it men or women we should stand with victims in support as we let our legal systems deal with the issue. Men should not cry, don't listen to that BS. Men are not emotional, the women are. And if men are emotional, million bucks they were raised by a single mother. Mate, we hit things and fix things push things and sometimes pull things. All this men of feelings crap has not done us any good. Women will cry within seconds of getting a flat tyre for just the sheer inconvenience of the flat tyre. Yeah they shouldn't be running around telling anyone how to show emotions, they are the worst at dealing with them. One of their emotions can ruin decades of family unity by phucking the pool boy, then crying about it when they get caught. Too many emotional people who are not in control of their emotions telling us how to show our emotions and if we do it incorrectly to someone else's perception will determine ones masculinity and wether it's toxic or not. Phuck that.

Overall women don't want emotional men, they say they want too, but never as their BF or husband. Then they want you to be traditional.

There are also two other "priviliges" for men: 1. _A man is graped by a woman, and she gets pregnant, she still has the legal right to force him to pay. Even if you prove the case to 100%. Same goes if the woman manipulates the protection._ 2. _If a man and a woman agreed to have sex, but also to use protection, and the man intentionally lefts the latter out, he can be sued for sexual harrasment. If the case is the other way around though, the man gets to hear: It's your own fault._

I've never heard of the 2nd one, but we have the first one in America, and, even worse, in our courts if your wife cheats on you and gets pregnant, the baby is considered a product of the marriage, and the husband is legally the father and on the hook for child support. Even if he was tricked, and/or they split up, and/or a DNA test proves that the child isn't his. I found this out when my idiot friend married the town bicycle (at the age of 20!) and she ended up pregnant within a few months. Before the first full year was up, my friend caught her cheating, left heartbroken, filed for divorce, and was sued for child support. DNA test proved the little girl wasn't his, but the judge said ho got pregnant while they were married, which automatically made the child his responsibility, and by the time he turned 22, he was getting child support garnished from his checks until this unrelated girl finally turned 21. To make matters worse, when he decided to lean into the responsibility and accept/treat her as his daughter (she was around a year old at this point) the mom contested visitation under the grounds that he isn't technically her father, AND THE JUDGE SIDED WITH THE WALKING MATTRESS. That is one of the most unjust things I've ever heard. I still can't believe that it's legal.

If a woman kicks a man out of her life , it's good on you for getting rid of that asshole even if she was the one who did the dirty or caused it but if a man kicks a woman out of his life , he's automatically the asshole for ruining her life and it's worse if they have kids . My ex met a couple of new friends ( both women ) who told her because their relationships were shit that I was a prick and told her to leave me . We had a baby together and they ended up taking her to nightclubs as well as got her into smoking pot, then come home bragging about the men she was with while our daughter was at home crying for a feed because her mother was still breastfeeding her at the time . I nursed her while she cried her guts out until she fell asleep for being to tired to care because she wouldn't take formula and was to young for solid food , but i was labelled the asshole because i left when i was told i don't love you anymore so leave . i found out later she was giving our baby Phenergan to to make her sleep until she got back from the night clubs or woke up the next morning . Honestly I think the best response I've heard about the pay gap was from ol Muskie himself. He basically said that of he had to hire around four thousand engineers 1-20 of them would be female. Not because he wanted to hire men. Or being sexist. But because the experience pool in engineering is very heavily male orientated. And that that 1-20 female to male ratio is because engineering isn't interesting to women.
@elena0351
@elena0351 2 жыл бұрын
Problem is that there is also a reason why engineering "isn't interesting" to women. It's not just "Oh well wOmEn as a collective just don't enjoy math" Most mathematic careers are seen as "male jobs", people tell you you won't have time fot a family when you become an engineer. You yourself think twice before entering a space where your boss will be a man and your only 1 woman between 20 men. Like what? And finally, the pay gap exists even when a man and a woman have the same job, in the same position, working the same amount of hours. And don't even get me started on the glass ceiling. I get that these responses are supposed to sound funny and be quick but social issues just aren't that simple

I remember when our national women's football team won the women's Euro cup. They broke records in television numbers, and everyone thought it was gonna result in a massive influx of new young girls who wanted to get into football now with such strong female role models in the sport. A lot of sports clubs started heavily invest for this new massive influx and spent a lot of money on it. Turned out that the next year, there wasn't even a 1% increase. Wanna know why? It was already very easy to join a girls football team and the girls who wanted to play football. Were already playing. In short, women just don't like to play football as much as men. And it had NOTHING to do with opportunity as they were already equal for decades prior.

You touch on a very interesting point about men having humour! There are evolutionary biologists that believe humour initially developed in men first, as a means of diffusing tension. As our species became more social in nature, it meant there were larger groups of men living together. With all that testosterone pumping, aggression was easy to trigger. So by developing humour, it allowed men to live in large groups without constant conflict. Also, observe that male humour (irrespective of culture or language) is generally aggressive or slightly offensive in nature, but in a purposefully endearing way. Which hints at the underlying reason for humour existing in the first place.

Feminists developed their understanding of men by looking at women's experiences and extrapolating. They didn't actually talk to any men about what it is like to be a man. I recently finished reading 'Feminism is for Everybody' by bell hooks. She describes the start of the development of feminist theory. It was groups of hurt and broken women in unsupervised group 'therapy'. Hooks tries to say that feminists don't hate men, but she constantly talks about how terrible men are.

The reason they bring up the "pay gap" is because they are terrified that men will figure out the truth - that they deserve less money because they do less work. If you break down the whole “wage gap” to its conclusion it takes a dramatic turn when you start to factor in taxes paid vs services provided by said taxes and overall lifespan, cant remember where i saw it (probably got banned by now for going against the narrative), but if followed through with all factors i think it worked out to, for every $1 a Woman makes, a Man earns $0.82c, this is if you take into account everything, such as time employed, lifespans, medical care and other services men and women generally access over their lifetimes.
@christopheranderson2769
@christopheranderson2769 2 жыл бұрын
@@noname-lp3mu it's more then that - because the study they quoted is painfully biased. Because - it's a direct comparison of men and women's after taxes salary's. Which takes no consideration of extreme part time work, full time work + overtime, or the number of men vs women with lucrative careers. It has no consideration for paid child leave, sick children, arrive lave/leave early, women working pt jobs for pocket money, summer college jobs etc. If they study was a tax return - the revenue service would have kicked the door down years ago. The show Rick and Morty has a good quote for it. In paraphrase - The president says "I have seen your tax returns and on the day you earn enough to actually be taxed - I will gladly sit down with you and hear your ideas on a fairer tax system" lol

@Aunt Shawna my mom was a really hard worker too. I know some women are hard workers. The issue is the majority are neither psychologically or physically interested in 90% of the work left to the men. Which results in corporations making men do intense labor while women do all the less intense work or no work at all. If your a commie then paying ALL women equally is perfect - because you don't have a job to feel screwed at. If your a male in a capitalist society - then you have a limited amount of healthy years to save for retirement and/or raise children - forcing the men to be underpaid so you can over pay the woman is essentially a way of forcing men to give welfare to other men's women and and other men's children. But without the benefit of the woman parenting the mans offspring or the bedroom stuff. They call it equality but paying someone equally to do less work is 100% communism. Every time, in certain workplaces, a company hires a woman they force a male worker to work 25% harder to compensate. And, they know this is the case - but care more for government tax credits, and positive tweets, then they do for disposable labor. It's not equality - it's inequity.

I agree with you. I actually enjoy female characters being badass for a change. But lately Western / American entertainment seems to pander to toxic women and THEIR idea of a strong female character. And it's THEIR idea that sucks. I like female characters that know their limitations but are not afraid to put up a fight and work around their limitations. (Physiology wise)

I am really enjoying a lot of the Korean shows on Netflix at the moment. One of my favourites is Signal. The police lady is KICK ASS, but she’s not so butch to be a man with a girl’s head stuck on the body. And then men in that cry. It is gut wrenching and beautiful and deep and powerful. I shudder at the thought of any Western remakes of that which would just butcher the characters.

@@whiteswanlilly4119 aye. When it comes to great written characters that I like, a lot of them are actually from anime and manga (Japanese animation and comics) Compared to Americans and other westerners, the Japanese know how to write compelling and in-depth female characters. Like you the only American one I could think of is Ripley. And Sarah Connor.

I've had crappy boyfriends in the past, the last one was awful. But that was only like 3 or 4 bad blokes that have been absolutely horrible to me in my life. My male friends, my dad, my bosses, my brother, grandfather, etc... have always treated me with respect and no differently, not all men are bad, most men I've met are lovely people. I'm athletic and I like being outdoors and help family and my partner out with some of their manly chores - because I enjoy it and mainly they need an extra hand, lol. BUT I'm still a woman, small framed, feminine and not as strong as them, I recognize that and it's absolutely fine. I have other abilities elsewhere - like cooking and organizing things properly, I like everything to be perfect and tidy - especially since I live with a man who always gets dirty and works at a physically hard job. I like to be seen as a lady most of the time and treated like one. Because I am one.

Most _people_ are lovely people, both men and women. Fortunately, the people screaming all men are toxic and _"kill all men"_ is a very loud but small minority. The bigger problem is that the good women of the world don't stand up to this small minority when they start calling for the murder of all men.

I once dated a chick and after 30 minutes she mentioned she's a feminist. I should've known because although she wasn't out of shape or having a male haircut but she did have some piercings and tattoos that were telling. When she confessed being a feminist I went to pay for the drinks and left but not before explaining to her why. Her:you're leaving? Me:yes love..my toxic masculinity just kicked in so I must save you from witnessing too much of it.

let me guess: nose ring? maybe one or more around her mouth or eyebrow as well? also for the tattoos: soemthing between her tits, maybe, or some certain symbols of tools or other signs? or some either selfdehumanising stuff (like cum dumpster or bad girl) or the standard paroles and/or uninspired stuff you'd see on about everyone who's an npc? but the nose ring seems to be THE telling sign of a crazy far left feminist female (they're not real women, often they even are not by their own admission, but something nonbinary or whatever else the newest fad is), so whenever I see one, I already know her politics, and so far I haven't been disapointed by that method. the biggest discreptancies are usually that I don't assume her to be as crazy as she actually ends up being.

Gun right should be available with training to anyone. If all daughters have a gun in their purse, a rapist would think twice before attacking a woman. An armed society is a polite society because of status quo.
