Finally getting my act together and turning my scattered collection of DM replies on this subject into a coherent list. Hurrah! It's only taken two years.

Hello, from the Midwest of the U.S. I love, love your "crafty nonsense" videos. If this will not add too much pressure to your already full plate of requests: Please - keep making them. They are a wonderful reality check at times for me to closely (in good fun) check-in on this FlossTube community I stumbled upon five years ago, and how I am consuming so much virtual content. Take care, and stay safe.

I’m old enough to be your American grandmother, and I love your channel! About nail-biting - when I turned 50, I noticed that my friends seemed to all be getting manicures, and I thought, “I’d like to join that “club”! So I started getting twice-a-month manicures. I was cured of the nail biting very quickly. Now I go every 3 weeks, and don’t dare disappoint my nail tech by biting! Don’t wait until you’re 50! I follow you for cross stitch. ❤️❤️❤️

Congrats on 2 years! It both seems like it's gone by fast and like watching your videos and talking to you on Instagram and through the comments has always been a part of my life. Don't remember how I found you but you've definitely made been an awesome addition to my life.

Oh my goodness, I relate SO HARD to the pressure that comes with crafting for content. And all I have currently is a personal Instagram. 😅 But I eventually want to sell my crafts, so I try documenting everything for future product promotion and man, it gets overwhelming quick. Also, I never would have guessed audio would be the number one thing to worry about, but it makes sense. Also also, CONGRATS on reaching your latest milestone! Yay 2 years! 😆🎉🎉🎉

I have no interest in starting a crafting channel BUT I really enjoyed the behind the scenes peek. I had never thought of most these things and it truly made me appreciate what you do even more!! By the way, because of you I have bought the stuff to start a new craft (felting--gonna try those baubles) and because of you I am crafting more. Because of you I even challenged myself to finish a project I started about a year ago.....but I just realized that when I went to the craft store a few minutes ago, I forgot to buy one thing I need to complete the project. Sigh. Oh well, I've kinda started a crafter's log and I'll keep that project high on the list. Thanks for everything! and Happy Channelversary! PS If you do anything fun with the washi tape, I hope you'll share that with us. That's kind of a backhanded way of asking for some kind of fun tutorial 😏

Congrats on two years! You've done so well and absolutely earned all your progress! I'm not even a year into this, but I think for me, one of my biggest struggles is simply that I still don't have the skills or resources (or firing synapses, maybe) to make my videos and channel what I had originally envisioned. Also, as a project video based channel, I've done pretty well not feeling overwhelmed by the projects (I love that it gives me the motivation to actually finish things! Though the not crafting if I'm not filming bit is just too real!), but I'm still so slow at editing. It takes me at least a week, just for basic stuff, and I had wanted to do so much more. Editing definitely cuts into my craft time. By a lot. Though I have managed to avoid the social media spoilers... mainly because I fail at social media. I also think the multicrafter angle is definitely harder than the singular niche, and I've struggled to figure out what to do about that. It's difficult/awkward to ask for feedback when engagement is still low. You are so good at these chatty, talking head videos that you've got so much appeal even to people who don't do all your same crafts. I think being able to come up with these types of videos will definitely help any new youtuber gain traction.

I can relate to so much that you said! I started my channel in May 2020 and it's been quite the journey. You are so right on the amount of time...lots of time to do craft process videos and for me, lots of hair pulling! Thanks for your perspective. I enjoyed it!

The struggle is real! Even in this video I held that washi tape gift box with the worse hand and used the marginally more presentable hand to take things out of it 🤦‍♀️

Congratulations on the Milestone! And thanks for making this video. I love all your videos but especially the ones where you are open and honest about your journey. So many people on here are not! As someone with a video background, I know how hard it its to make any video, and as an aspiring KZfaq creator, there are so many lessons to learn about creating content that goes beyond just knowing how to film and edit a video! So I admire your ability to put yourself out there and create amazing content! I agree with all your points, everyone makes it look so easy, but it is not! Going into content creation I thought it would be easy with my background but the "content machine" is a real thing and it's hard to stay consistent! Turns out it's much harder to gather the motivation to make a video for "myself" than a paying client. Also, my daughter is a serial nail bitter as well. She constantly has bandaids on her fingers from chewing the skin too deep!

Yay for 2 years! Congratulations! I restarted my channel in March after a many years break and I decided I just have to do it because it brings me joy. I have very few followers/likes/comments, etc. and I don't have the technology to do anything fancy but I enjoy being a part of the community of crafters. I was also a very big nail biter for all of my childhood and great deal of my adult life. I have no good advice on how to stop because I can't remember stopping. It's like a lost memory. I do know that once I became slightly germophobic that influenced my behavior. I totally understand bloody fingers.
