I have to disagree about DT wrapping paper. It isn't worth the dollar twenty five. It’s thin and rips so easily. Now, the gift bags and tissue paper are worth it.

I found castile soap there the last time I went. Never thought id see that at a dollar store, ended up getting 5 of them

I love to use the contact cases for Vaseline and Vicks when we travel!

Don’t skip on the books! I found the “Unofficial Disney Epcot cookbook” for only $1.25!!! What a deal! The same one on Amazon is around $20.

The contact cases are also good for lotions when traveling. I put my day time moisturizer with SPF on one side, and my night time moisturizer on the other side. The case holds much more than you might think.

I love the tiny silicone scraper for getting things out of jars! I’m always surprised how much I use it ❤

One of my favorite DT buys, especially this time of year is their full can pie fillings in apple and cherry. That and a cake mix and you have a very inexpensive pot-luck dessert.

I looked for a meat masher at several Dollar Trees and never could find one. Had to pay about $4 at Walmart. I like Dental pic flossers, melatonin, sleep tabs and dish soap, dishwasher soap and tide, as well as storage containers, laundry baskets from Dollar Tree. Don't forget great and cheap greeting cards, gift bags, bows, etc . When I had to take treats to school, I always put them in cute DT decorated baggies. In the party section. I have always loved the 2 kitchen shears. Red and white one eventually gets dull, but I had about 25 pairs all over the house for the garage, kitchen, garden and even for sewing. I like the newer black ones for everything in the kitchen. Cut bacon with them the other day. Awesome.

Did you know you can reuse parchment paper when baking cookies. Turn over and use again!

The contact lens cases are great for holding liquid makeup when you travel!

I HATED the Dollar Tree meat masher. It worked horribly and parts started chipping off into our food. I bought a better quality one at Kohls for just a few dollar more and am very happy with it

I am planning a visit to my Dollar Tree for toiletries and canned goods. My church is doing an Advent Calendar Food Drive (24 items/1 a day for all of Advent) and it's an easy way to stock up without busting the bank!

Oh, I bought the chocolate mint candies for all my kiddos stocking stuffers but found them at Save Mart for $.99 each. I found them at DT later that day for $1.25 and did my happy dance that I got them even cheaper 😂They are delicious!

Black Licorice is an acquired taste, the people that like the flavor LOVE it. I grew up with a Licorice plant in Mom and Dad's garden when they bought the house, real Licorice Root flavor is unbelievable, "some" brands of Black Licorice are "Ok" most are too strong and funky however, I'll eat the Black over the Red every time.

I always use those big dollar store mugs for my stuffed buscuits, lol. They're bigger than any of the circle shaped cutters I've found.

I found a dough cutter/bench scraper at Dollar Tree and I love it! I'm amazed at how many different ways I found to use it. I've never seen the Junior Mints Peppermint crunch, and now I'm bummed because I have to wait a whole year to try them! 😂

Every once in a rare while, you can catch the fabled bread day. I've gotten Dave's Killer, Orowheat, Franz; Thomas's muffins are in the freezer now. Where most of these are well over $5, normally now, my original misnomer of "free bread day" wasn't that far off.

my dollar trees here do not ever have the larger bags of pretzels or the drinks- but we have tried the junior mints peppermint crunch and they are amazing!!!! I bought a few boxes (10) for some stockings! I need some holiday baking ideas!

I found a TALL glass jar of minced garlic and a good sized pack of cinnamon sticks (like 8 sticks) for 1.25 each! I was pricing out the cinnamon sticks and a small McCormick container of them (maybe 5 or 6 shorter sticks) at Walmart is $4!!!

Thank you kindly for the shopping tips✨ Here in the San Diego area, we have to hit up the dollar tree as soon as the Christmas items land on the shelves! That could be anytime in November- or earlier! Our youngest son lives oversea in Japan, and had told us that he hadn’t planned on putting up a Christmas tree this year (his first Christmas away from home overseas). I looked in line to find a nice table top tree, but I couldn’t find anything decent looking for under $25 dollars. A few days after Thanksgiving, our daughter and I decided to see if the Dollar Tree had anything to offer- - they were stocked full of beautiful mini ornaments, tree toppers, tree skirts, mini lights, and even mini green and white Christmas trees to choose from! We also have family members coming in from out of state to visit over Christmas, so we bought extra trees, ornaments and all the trimmings so we could decorate them and put them in their hotel rooms before they get there. Their store was so well stocked that we could decorate each tree with a different themes. We got door knob bells, stockings and few other items to decorate their rooms as well. Did your Dollar Tree carry those santa/snowmean chair back covers? Their selection of stocking stuffers is wonderful! Candy canes, white chocolate peppermint bark, chocolate crispy lumps of coal, Santa sleigh/gingerbread ‘Lego’ gummy blocks, chocolate and peppermint spoon cocoa stirrers, and so so much more. To be fair, we ended up buying mini Christmas tree lights at Grocery outlet, because the lights from Dollar Tree were just too bright. We made the trees pre-lit, and secured the ornaments to the trees so our sons tree could survive the journey to Japan 😅, and so that if our relatives want to take their trees home with them, they can simply fold the tree back up and place it in their luggage. Our only tips to everyone are: if you plan to do your Christmas shopping at Dollar Tree for whatever your needs are: (if you can) do it early, hit up a few of them (because their items can differ store to store), if you see something you like- get it then and get multiples if you THINK you might need it, because it will most likely be gone within a few days to a week. Our stores allow returns and exchanges with the original receipt. My daughter and I did get extras of most items, but the ones that we didn’t (aside from the mini trees) were gone when we returned just two days later! And that was December 1st! 😢 I remember just a few years ago you could hit the jackpot at Dollar Tree during their Christmas Clearance sales- but now that the word is out on them- you’re lucky if you find a broken ornament from a multi pack to snatch up on clearance 😂 Thanks again for the shopping tips! We always try to make a trip to the Dollar Tree after you’ve posted a video on it to see any of our stores can live up to yours. I’m telling you- your locations are far better when it comes to full size and name brand items. We are happy to make do with what we are blessed with though🙏 Be well, stay kind and blessings~ And may the season in which we celebrate our Saviors birth bring hope, love, peace and joy to all✨
