@TherealRNOwwfpooh Жыл бұрын
He should've said "We can't sanction your buffoonery", since Two-Face is, quite literally, of 2 minds on everything (as with the preceding animated series, Harvey Dent is his much more noble half meanwhile Big Bad Harv is a combination of all of his negative aspects, thus resulting in quarrels between the 2 differing sides of his fractured personality) & often uses us/we/our rather than I/me/my when speaking about his dual identity problem.

I just watched it today before I saw this top ten. This version is more like the 60's version. I loved it. Val Kilmer was fantastic😄P.S rest in peace Frank Gorshon.

It is a pity that Burton did not make the third film about Batman. This movie is cartoonish and in lighter tone than Burton's movies, but I think that Val Kilmer was nice as Batman. Also, I like the songs by U2 and Seal.

This was my first Batman movie as I was born in 1986 and knew who he was but because of the age rating, my parents didn't show me the Tim Burton ones. Fast forward to today and its still one of my favourite Batman films. I think it's like James Bond, you will always prefer the film/actor of your time so for me it's Val Kilmer as Batman and Pierce Brosnan as Bond!

Huh, in that new Harley Quinn animated series Riddler is bald save for a question mark tattooed on his head, I wonder if Jim Carey's idea here inspired that

This movie was hands down my favorite at the time. We watched it all the time. I remember being so excited about Batman and Robin because I loved this one so much. Went to the theaters opening day and 10 min in when the ice skates popped out of his boots I was done.

It isn't entirely fair to blame Schumacher, as it was Warner Bros, not Schumacher who insisted on the more campy, light-hearted Batman. Schumacher wrote a script called Batman Triumphant, which was going to be the final part of his trilogy and was much darker. Also Forever saw that the previous Billy-Dee Williams, Harvey Dent had some awful accident and turned into Tommy Lee Jones! Hideous. Also led to some critics complain that Batman Forever was 'Whiteout Batman'. Of course you also have Jim Carey playing... well Jim Carey as always.

A rebellious teenage 30 year old LOL 😂... i’m not sure if you’re being literal because the actor is old and they’re trying to portray him as a teenager or if he is just a 30-year-old that acts like a teenager. I think it’s more the latter due to the writing
@nynomadfjc39075 ай бұрын
I think Batman Forever was a hidden blessing. It kept the entire name plate from getting sucked into the same cycle that modern day Marvel movies are stuck in without being able to make different versions of characters.

Forever is still just as good as it was when it came out. Even if it felt campy, there are deep psychological aspects to the movie. Also, the story isn't just a Batman movie, but also a Bruce Wayne movie. Not only that, but there's references to past Batman/Superman characters, along with a nod to a real life person.

19:22 I randomly met Seal while standing in line at the Burbank Frys Electronics store back in the late 90s. He was super cool and even helped me choose which USB connector I should buy! I asked him about 'Kiss from a Rose' and his albums (which my wife and I listened to all the time when we were dating in college) Great days back in LA, I miss that store.
