@TherealRNOwwfpooh
@TherealRNOwwfpooh Жыл бұрын
He should've said "We can't sanction your buffoonery", since Two-Face is, quite literally, of 2 minds on everything (as with the preceding animated series, Harvey Dent is his much more noble half meanwhile Big Bad Harv is a combination of all of his negative aspects, thus resulting in quarrels between the 2 differing sides of his fractured personality) & often uses us/we/our rather than I/me/my when speaking about his dual identity problem.

Billy Dee Williams did reprise his role as Two Face in The Batman Lego Movie. Had Marlon Wayans played Robin, it would have been an In Living Color ( the comedy sketch show he was started in, along with Jim Carrey) connection. The comedian George Wallace, who played the mayor of Gotham, had just one line: "What the hell do you want Harvey?" The girl group En Vogue appear as ladies of the night who totally diss Robin. In the film when he's talking to Alfred, we find out what kind of cars Bruce Wayne has in his garage, a Jaguar and a Bentley.

There is the scene when the Riddler did hang out with Two-Face and one of the girls in the white lingerie is Drew Barrymore. Jim Carrey says the line "does anyone feel like a fried egg?" while testing a gadget the Riddler invented so he can pick up Batman's brain waves and trying to discover Batman's real identity.

It's a product of it's time, just look at Billboard, late 80s & early 90s was more grunge & metal, mid 90s was light-hearted and pop oriented, with eurodance (thus the neon overkill) and other fun careless music, that is visually pleasing, catchy, but with little thought behind it. But Forever did bring us Seals "Kiss from a Rose" so it wasn't all bad. It's fun but turn you're brain off lol

The Riddler has always been my favourite comic book villain and I think Jim pulled it off amazingly as a follow up to Frank Gorshin. I do feel that Robin Williams would have made a great and more sinister version of the riddler though but I'm glad we're finally going to get that with The Batman.

It isn't entirely fair to blame Schumacher, as it was Warner Bros, not Schumacher who insisted on the more campy, light-hearted Batman. Schumacher wrote a script called Batman Triumphant, which was going to be the final part of his trilogy and was much darker. Also Forever saw that the previous Billy-Dee Williams, Harvey Dent had some awful accident and turned into Tommy Lee Jones! Hideous. Also led to some critics complain that Batman Forever was 'Whiteout Batman'. Of course you also have Jim Carey playing... well Jim Carey as always.

Forever is still just as good as it was when it came out. Even if it felt campy, there are deep psychological aspects to the movie. Also, the story isn't just a Batman movie, but also a Bruce Wayne movie. Not only that, but there's references to past Batman/Superman characters, along with a nod to a real life person.
