The most funny thing about the Abdullah the Butcher thing is that it wasn't the only time somebody "died" and then just came back on a Halloween Havoc PPV. The Giant fell off the roof of the Arena "to his death" after a monster truck thing with Hogan, only to completely no sell it and come out for his World Title match against Hogan later in the night like nothing happened.

Not just later in the night.......it was part of the same segment. He falls off the building. Hogan screams in horror, and starts crying. Then comes to the ring, still crying, because he essentially just killed a guy. And then out comes the Giant, and later in the segment a giant mummy came out, and for reasons that were never explained, they proceeded to start dry humping Hogan's legs.

the "judy bagwell on a forklift" match was actually just a regular winner gets the valet / manager / whoever's contract match, which was common, and they actually still do.. the fact she was on a forklift really had nothing to do with the match stipulation. much like lesnar vs reigns was not a tractor match, but there was one in it.

Wasn't WWE crazy or even crazier at the same time? Yet WCW is the bar for stupidity WCW didn't have Hawk commit "suicide" on TV and then not even follow up on it if I'm not mistaken. That's like a million times stupider than something like "That's the Wall" or Warrior's reflection, or the Shockmaster or anything you can think of.

The finish between Sting and Hogan makes perfect sense. Hogan (as usual, didn't want to do what was best for business) bullied referee Nick Patrick into doing a regular count knowing what would happen and that it would make Sting and Bret Hart look stupid as a result.

I will always love WCW. Yeah, it’s had its issues. But 1992 WCW Saturday Night was my first introduction to pro wrestling… and I was a tween through the Monday night wars… so I freaking loved it. 😊

Bishod challenging McMahon wasn't really that crazy. It was just a competive heel thing to do. Tasteless, sure, but it worked. Also how much WCW relied on Hogan was really crazy.

I love you have to reassure gen Z fans that Chamber Of Horrors was real. At 46 years old now I was so disappointed in 1991 that I wasn’t able to watch Havoc 1991 as no TV channel in UK ever showed WCW ppvs, yet I remember the build up to the event quite well, even the point where they changed one of the participants from One Man Gang to Abdullah.

WCW was the greatest promotion It should still be running It practically was THE BRAND of pro wrestling When you thought of pro wrestling you thought probably WCW. If not WWF Since it was that big and that powerful it makes you wonder why it went out of business When something gets that big and that powerful and becomes a force it just keeps going. DC, Marvel, Chips Ahoy. But not WCW It clearly fell by it's own volition Turner or whoever just didn't want it anymore.

is it good or bad, that years, even decades after some of these, wwe did similar stuff.. Orton lit the fiend on fire and burned him "to death" but he was fine.. also, kane electrocuting shane mcmahon's balls, kane being thrown into a flaming dumpster that exploded.. Ray mysterio had his eye popped out AS THE STIPULATION of a match. wcw's Robocop was bad, but wwe also had scooby doo and multiple other "guest stars" from movies some of which were even "raw gm" for the week. and... the zombie lumberjack match where Miz and Morrison were theoretically eaten by zombies, but were fine for the next show? insert the Hurricane "what's up with that?"

Who can forget the build up to jake the snake Robert's and sting Halloween havoc in the biker bar with the wheel of doom on a stage people going up to turn it all watched over by the attractive biker babe jake nursing a shot at a corner table before sting bursts in muscle t jeans sunglasses on he walks over to Jake's table and calls him a cowardly yellow bellied chicken jake laughs and says he ain't no chicken and it's sting that's afraid of him sting bangs on the table and demands to fight right there in the bar jake laughs again and says oh no you'll have to wait for the ppv but if he feels brave go spin the wheel which excites the other patrons sting walk s up to the wheel the biker babe eggs sting on while jake and the other patrons chant and bang on the table stomp feet as they all chant spin the wheel make the deal repeatedly as we see the wheel spin and stop on a placard as the bar breaks out into wild applause and cheers the biker babe walks over to sting and says good luck big boy you'll need it and cackles

wcw was the worst and forever be the worst. There wasn't anything creative or entertaining at all. I always turn off my tv after few minutes if wwe shows old wcw matches.
