I believe Regal. Regal has been a consummate professional throughout his career and there has never been an instance of him going into business for himself. He even apologized to the younger wrestlers on AEW for going overtime during his promo. Goldberg however, has lied, botched matches, injured opponents, been stiff, acted unprofessionally and gone into business for himself on multiple occasions. He ended Bret's career too let's not forget. So I believe Regal

@@stephenkirkwood3544 I mean... I get that and that sucks. But it's not like Vic did it intentionally. Hell, it was even Jack's telling of the story that said Vic needed to be dragged into the spot. It's not Vic's fault that gravity pulled the bigger man down faster, causing him to land sooner than Jack could be ready for. He clearly didn't want to do it, and judging by the end result, not doing it would have been the proper move to make. Should he have gone to see him in the hospital? Sure. But to try to murder the guy over gravity being what it is, he should have been locked up for. Especially given Jack had a couple years to tell Vic it was fucked up, and even had a match prior to trying to murder him... and could have done the receipt then, where he wouldn't have been able to be charged with attempted murder. >.>

@@macdaddymario You make a good point, but Jack didn't know that it was an accident. Vic wanted to back out of the stunt at the last minute. Jack thought that it was intentional. @@macdaddymario well, new jack's insane. In pretty much every shoot on him people say that he doesn't take too well to any perceived disrespect, and from new jacks side backing out last minute, not checking in on jack and allegedly (from a new jack shoot when he was definitely not sober so take it with a grain of salt) bragging about injuring jack, it all combines into a mesh of extreme disrespect and therefore he will serve a receipt in the most violent way possible. Should he have been charged with attempted murder? I don't know. Seein as he has been charged for other incidents, maybe. The man ain't here no more tho so I guess that'll be another mystery in the man's legacy.

I have had back pain from a herniated disc in my back since I was 16, as well as had to have one of my vertebrae surgically removed and the other two fuzed together... I wasn't visited in the hospital, and the man never apologized to me. I don't blame him for physics and aerodynamics causing him to lose control of the car. Holding the dude responsible for gravity is just as silly. Attempted murder is attempted murder. Even more so when he openly admits it on camera that he was aiming for the concrete floor.. >.> But, like you said. Dude is gone, so it is what it is at this point. That was Goldbergs best match dude. He didn't exposed him. He made him look great. Regal was a pro. Goldberg was too stupid to care. The whole thing with Goldberg (Eric Bishoff is on the record with this) is that he was called up early to do short matches and grow his move set. He became a mark for himself and never learned more moves. A great example is Trish Stratus. She learned over the years and became a legit champion despite having the title early winning basically bikini battle royales. Goldberg didn't get that Regal was teaching him. He claims he "could" have had a Japanese style match... Then why didn't he adjust? He couldn't. He is a liar.

Regal just fell victim to backstage politics. Despite being green Goldberg was over, he was money and there was no way bishoff would let anyone make him look weak. They set regal up. Goldberg was always going to be a one trick pony. A one-dimensional in-ring performer with a limited move set. His sole objective was to have short-intense-squash matches that’s it. That was the whole gimmick nothing more. Unfortunately bishoff and eventually Vince didn’t know how to enhance the gimmick nor did they try to upgrade his lack of in-ring skillset. He was just a guy with the right look and natural charisma who could sell those type of matches and the fans brought into that. It is what it is. Thankfully regal had better luck in the WWE. Look at all that he accomplished. Sometimes being fired or rejected can lead to a better path. One door closes another door opens.

@@chetmanley610 Its much more than what the knobhead video maker stated. Farooq got injured and was out for like 6 months from the chest. The original kick that put Ahmed in the hospital was a legit accident on the job, and Ahmed whined and cried because he thought he was bigger than all of them and deserved way more money but he didnt care about the business. so after Ahmed broke Farooq's ribs and shelved him for months, Farooq aka Ron Simmons sat at home pissed off and getting more angry by the day. He called and spoke to both Godfather and D-Lo Brown the day before who both confirmed he said he was going to hurt Ahmed seriously. Upon his return, he beat the hell out of Ahmed with the stiffest of shots, both fists/kicks and weapons. Shawn Michaels used his backstage pull to legit bury Vader after that incident. Regarding the match between Regal and Goldberg, I believe Regal. Regal has been a consummate professional throughout his career. Goldberg was used to having his 1-2 minute squash matches, so it wouldn't be surprising if the WCW brass wanted Regal to extend Goldberg. The two men could have and should have communicated better before and during the match.

New Jack actually tried to impale him. I remember watching a special in the early 2000's, and he said the ring was moved a couple of feet than what they rehearsed. He threw him hoping he landed on the pole holding the turnbuckles, because the ring was moved he landed on the ropes instead. He wanted him to feel what it was like to having a constant ringing in your head, and migraines from the botch that cracked his skull.
